'The Matty Awards' - Unveiling The Winners, Part 1

It's time to begin announcing the winners of our first annual Matty Awards - more affectionately known as "The Matty's."

While these "awards" might not seem like much, I think that each winner should be proud simply because these awards were voted on by all of you - the great Phinsider community members.  And while the winners won't actually receive anything, we will feature permanently a list of all the winners each and every year in the left sidebar.

Now onto the unveiling of the first five award winners...

The Mercury Morris Front-page Frontrunner Award - given to the blogger with the most and/or best front-paged fanposts. Bonus points for rec's.

And the 'Matty' goes to...

Little Nicky 21, who received 47% of the vote.  This is Nicky's first ever 'Matty Award.'

Rzayo24 finised in second place, obtaining 29% of the vote.

The Chad Henne Goo Cannon Award - given to the blogger who received the most rec's on fanposts and comments. Bonus points for Green comments and ‘recommended fanposts.'  This award was not voted on.  I used a complex (well - not really - but there was a lot of research involved) formula to come up with the winner.

And the 'Matty' goes to...

HuskerDolphin, who had the highest average of "rec's per post."  This is Husker's first ever 'Matty Award.'

Others who had very high averages included Rzayo24, Little Nicky 21, and GatorPhan.

The Channing Crowder Lost In Translation Award - given to the blogger who has best overcome the language barrier between their first language and the English language.

And the 'Matty' goes to...

MauMontaV5, who received 46% of the votes.  This is MauMontaV5's first ever 'Matty Award.'

Aleta finised in second place with 43% of the vote.

The Matt Roth Award - given to the most passionate/borderline psychotic blogger.

And the 'Matty' goes to...

Finsxfactor, who received 45% of the vote.  This is his first ever 'Matty Award.'

Rzayo24 finished in 2nd place with 33% of the vote, followed closely by Ohiofinfan4life.

The Garo Yepremian Funny Like a Clown Award - given to the funniest blogger.

And the 'Matty' goes to...

Rzayo24, who received 51% of the vote.  This is his first 'Matty Award.'

Finsxfactor finished second with 23% of the vote.
