Henne on the road with the Triad
http://www.miamiherald.com/sports/football/miami-dolphins/story/972613.html
I guess in a sign that penne's days as the starting QB are numbered, the big three has taken Henne on the road with them to work out receiver prospects.
took my chevy to the levy and the levy was dry, Them good old boys were drinkin’ whiskey and rye And singin’, "this’ll be the day that I die.
"this’ll be the day that I die." bye bye american noodle arm.

"in a sign that penne days as the starting QB are numbered..."
Ok so sparano saying that Henne is our QB of the future and that he needs to get more snaps because his time is coming was not enough ??
If a year from now Henne turns out to be a bust and CP10 is winning the Super Bowl for Minnesota I´ll come to were you live and bitch slap you across the face

may your lips frimly freeze to CP's
@ss
while both of you freeze in the wasteland of minnesota…
and if CP ever wins a SB – not only will i kiss his …. i’ll say i’m wrong right here for you…. but you know what
just like ninnesota winning a super bowl with spielman running the show – it AINT happen-in.
so you and the rest of you CP fans can go hit the viking boards and leave us real dolphin fans alone.

I wonder if that means...
That we are going hard for a receiver in round one? I was watching NFL network last night, and they did three mock drafts. All three have us taking a receiver with the 25th pick. Two of them had us taking Percy Harvin, and the other, Kenny Britt. what do you think?
Now is the time- the time to rise up from the depths of Hell and stake our claim back on top of the AFC East...Look out Gaytriots here comes Jake Long and the Phins

they definitely want a #1 reciever for Henne....
that’s why I think they will draft for Henne’s guy in the later rounds….the two of them can practice together for a year…wait to see if Ginn shows up and then take the show on the road in 10
they need to draft 25 for the team….CB
Just one man's opinion.
The defending AFC Champions Miami Dolphins chose Marino with the 27th pick in the NFL draft.....
Founding member of the 2nd round draft of NT Ron Brace, 6'3", 330, benchx225:32 bandwagon
Founding member of the 3rd round draft of OG Herman Johnson, 6'7", 350, 36.5" arms bandwagon

Has anyone
heard of this being done previously. Great way to see if the QB has a good rapport with the receiver

If that is the case...
and Henne can run ALL of the offense, then he should be starting some time this year.

I wouldn't read into this
Pennington is in an off-season conditioning program. Why would the big 3 pull Pennington out of that to throw the ball for potential draft picks/ UDFA’s? Also, what better way to keep your young QB of the future involved and throwing during the off-season. I think Pennington is still our starter this year.

I would have to agree...
If anything, it really is a great problem to have. It’s the same in MLB, you can never have too much pitching.

That is a great idea
from the triumvirate.
See what receivers mesh with your future QB… brilliant.
Does this happen a lot, or is this new?

i would like to see the FO draft defense with the first three picks. And pick up a receiver with the 3rd or 4th> i would really enjoy seeing us draft Louis Murphy, i think he would be a serious asset and can be seen as a tall version of Ginn. Especially if henne likes throwing to him. He is a development project, but not much. With the outstandingcoaching staff I think Louis Murphy can become what this team could use and need.

Murphy is an athletic, playmaking receiver who is a threat downfield. He has great size and speed and has the ability to pull in the toughest receptions. He gets a quick release off the line and instantly gains separation from the opposition. He gives teams flexibility and can play inside or outside. He’s dangerous in space and elusive after the catch. He has to improve his route running. – Chris Steuber, Scout.com
