Jets and Redskins Still Spending
Well it looks like the two biggest spenders the past couple years, including this year, are at it again. The Jets keep on blowing money, re-signing OG Brandon Moore on the same day they cut him. Moore got 4 years and $16mil, including $10mil in guarantees. They also traded an '09 5th rounder and '10 conditional pick to the Eagles for Lito Sheppard.
The Redskins threw more cash around, this time grabbing OG Derrick Dockery to a 5 year deal worth $26mil, with $8.2mil guaranteed.
There must not have been any market for Moore, because he was cut earlier in the day, then re-signed for a substantial paycut. Also, Lito Sheppard was all but given away, a year after Philly made Asante Samuel the highest paid CB at the time to replace him. I'm awaiting the news that NYJ overpaid Sheppard in his new contract.
As far as Washington, I have no idea where they keep getting money, but they've gotta be tapped out by now. That Haynesworth contract was just ridiculous.

There's a reason Lito wasn't even Phili's nickelback last year.
Good luck with that, Rex.

Gotta move those new PSLs Nicky-
they don’t sell themselves! Especially since they screwed all those multi generation season ticket holders out of their tickets.
