Around SBN: Bob Sapp Denies Throwing Fights

For the last four years I’ve poured out my heart and my soul to that team. Any and everything that you could possibly say or do to be that guy, the type of caliber player where any team out there would say, ‘Hey that’s the type of guy we want, that we need on our team,’ that’s me. I’m not trying to pump myself up right now, but that’s how I have to feel because I’ve done everything possible to market myself and to build my stock over the last four years.

And I do realize they’re in a binding situation right now and if you look at the history with Baltimore they’ve always been a defensive team and with the stance their taking with me right now looks as though they will continue to be a defensive team that struggles offensive wise.

-Free agent center Jason Brown, talking about the Ravens' decision to let him walk.

One other note - the Colts re-signed Jeff Saturday. So the free agent center market just lost a player.

I'm all for bringing him to Miami

Our running game did well, though, it was unorthodox nor that consistent. Brown can give us that bigger lane to really keep the game on the ground.

Also consider-

we have no state income tax! Actually saves people a TON of money to work here so hopefully they are considering that. Probably not since their dirty agents only care about the overall deal.

I live in the Chicago area ...

I know bad weather, but I have never spent a more miserable time in a city than I did in Buffalo. Nothing to do and could not leave because of snow. I used to think Cleveland and Detroit were the worst cities I have ever been too. Buffalo is on that list now. Maybe not worst but definately in the ball park.

rotoworld...

The Dolphins are “believed to be” working on a deal to retain free agent CB Andre’ Goodman before the 12AM deadline.
Goodman is entering his 30+ years, but he’s been something of a late bloomer and would be worth keeping as a nickel back. He picked off five passes in 2008.
