DT Chris Baker
I think many of us would agree that drafting/signing a young NT is a pretty high priority this off-season. I would love to draft Brace, but if for some reason we don't get him, I came across an interesting prospect: Chris Baker from Hampton. Here is some info about him I found on walterfootball.com:
Height: 6-2. Weight: 326.
Combine 40 Time: 5.02.
Benchx225: 24. Vertical: 35.5.
Projected Round (2009): 2-3.
He has great size, excellent speed, and a good vertical. He may need to get a little stronger though, as his bench was rather low. As a junior this past year he had 16.5 TFL and 8.5 sacks. And thus far it seems like Langford, his former teammate, has a promising NFL career ahead of him, so I don't have much reservation about his school.
Thoughts?

I've heard a few good things about him
But not a lot. Worth looking at, but I can really give more of an answer than that…

This is the guy that Gator mentioned a while back..
in a CKC talking about his top 5 NT’s.. I had no idea who he was. Good info here. He went to the same school as Langford.. that must’ve been a ridiculous DL lol.
I don’t know much about him, but I think he can be in the mix for a 2nd Day NT if Brace escapes us on the first day. Baker, Terrence Taylor, and Sammie Lee Hill all seem like viable options on Draft Sunday..
