Tagliabue to the Dolphins?
FROM PROFOOTBALLTALK.COM
(REST OF ARTICLE CUT OUT DUE TO BORING NON-DOLPHINS INFORMATION.)This is pretty interesting. And note that it's not just a random PFT rumor, but comes from Sports Business Journal (SBJ). If it's true, I think it'll be a good move. Nobody has a better understanding of how the league works than the guy who was in charge of the whole operation for the last couple decades. What do you guys think? Fun poll time.SBJ points out that Tagliabue could also be accepting a position with the Dolphins, which would most likely require him to give up his gig with the league office.
Tagliabue reportedly has been advising on an informal basis new team owner Stephen Ross, and Ross reportedly wants to hire Tagliabue to become the vice chairman of the team.

I think it could help out
A new owner learn the ropes and how/why things are done.
As long as Tags doesn’t get a say in the actual football operations (i.e., player personnel moves, coaching, etc.), I think it could be beneficial.

SBJ is a very reliable source (and a damn good publication to read)
With that said, don’t matter to me if Tagliabue is brought in. He’ll only be dealing with the business side of things – not the football, personnel side.

Hmm
anybody think this might be to help out with the possible labor unrest that may be coming up soon? If so there is nobody better to have in your corner than the last guy have a labor contract negotiated on his watch?
