This Guy is a great coach
The fact that he left URI after one season doesn’t sit well with me, but he is a great coach. Coached at Rutgers as the Special Teams and defensive backs coach up to the 2007 year. Than he went to URI as the head the coach.
I met Darren at a coaches clinic in RI. He was a motivational and an intense guy, and really took the time to make sure everyone understood his lecture. I really enjoyed how he spent time with me one on one to go over the defensive plays. He also spoke to me and gave me advice on how to start off as a young coach.
