The Miami Herald's Barry Jackson checks in again with some news on Miami's free agents. Highlights include: -Dolphins spoke with Channing Crowder again but aren't in a hurry to up their previous offer - an offer Crowder calls "a special-teams contract." Jackson expects Crowder to likely end up somewhere else. -Dolphins talking numbers with Andre Goodman - but a deal isn't close. -Talks with Yeremiah Bell will "intensify" next week at the Scouting Combine. Jackson says the Fins "very much want to keep him." -Dolphins "working hard" to reach a long-term deal with Vernon Carey - and could use the franchise tag if no deal is in place by February 19 (the deadline to use the tag).
