Priceless!
I like that Tom Brady has enough class to play along…our corners are getting some serious experience. Sean Smith made some incredible interceptions in preseason but hasn’t found his groove in the regular season. To me it seems like Sean Smith is dying for his first interception and he’s tried several times but needs to focus on knocking the ball down more. That Aikin touchdown could have been prevented by jumping higher or simply by sticking one arm up high and knocking the ball away.

Should have been offensive pass interference! He held Smith down and the only way that Smith could have overcome that was to commit Defensive Pass Interference. It was great coverage and a shitty “no call”

Even though i still would take Nicks/Britt over Vontae, he is steppin his game up. Two INTs on Brady is something to brag about when you are a rookie. And this shows his confidence level is very high . “I like it, step up!”

Vontae’s the kind of corner that will drive opposing QBs NUTS with his athleticism. Love the fact he’s an outstanding tackler, too.
This thought crossed my mind on Sunday night: Pretty soon, the two best corners in this league could be Darrelle Revis and Vontae Davis.
Vontae makes some bonehead plays at times, but it seems like he always comes back to make a play when we absolutely need one. I wouldn’t take Davis over ANYONE who was available when we selected at #25.

What makes his two picks of Brady more impressive is that he outjumped Randy Moss twice.

Dudes got some ups and aint afraid of nobody. I loved in the Carolina game after he knocked the ball out of Steve Smiths hands for an incompletion Steve Smith talked trash and VD stepped right up to him and showed him what’s up.
It was genius for the trifecta to pick him. I know the need is for #1 as we all can see but hindsight is always 20/20. You draft what you need at the moment and at that moment this team needed to lay the foundation of a championship defense. As everyone says defense wins championships a shutdown in your face CB was what the doctor ordered to begin laying down the cornerstone of an up and coming championship defense.

Seriously though, Davis has stepped up at times and with some more games under his belt he should work out well for the Phins for years to come!

i saw this when it happened
