JT? Are you kidding me?
We're only one game off the wildcard hunt, two games off the division lead, coming off a tough loss, and we play the division leaders this weekend. And then there's this:

JT used to be a leader on this team. Spare me the "it's a business" and "why shouldn't he get a shot at a ring?" arguments. This is nothing but a disappointment from the guy who used to be the consummate Dolphin.
Go Dolphins.

Not in the middle of the season...
…against a division rival that we’re playing that week. He can respect them all he wants from the sidelines as far as I’m concerned. This sets a horrible example for the young guys on defense. The old JT would never have said anything like this, even during the 1-15 season.
Go Dolphins.
If I had a tagline, this would be it.

I can live with that...
…if it’s true. Maybe he’ll break Brady’s legs, then help carry him off the field saying, “I don’t want to burn any bridges”, as he lays him gently at Bullychump’s feet.
Go Dolphins.
If I had a tagline, this would be it.
And I'm not paranoid...
…I just think there’s a secret conspiracy to never let the Dolphins win a Super Bowl again. That’s all.

I hope
this seals his fate and we DONT resign him!!!! Lets start the reshaping of the LB core
Confidence breeds success, self-doubt breeds failure
Much ado about nothing....
the fact is this game is a business and the players all know their careers will end sooner or later. Sure fans may get heated and want to tar/feather this or that rival team/player but on the field by and large, the NFL is a fraternity of sorts.
There’s only a handful of people in the whole country that can make an incredibly wealthy living playing a game.
I don’t see how JT saying we’ll see at the end of the season makes him some sort of traitor. He’s only telling people the truth but maybe some expect a 33 year old nearing his end to say he’ll be a dolphin forever. Are the dolphins saying they’ll extend him or give him another 2 years? Nope, they would say the same thign: we’ll see at the end of the year.
Good points...
…and I agree with most of what you’re saying. However, while the franchise would also say, “we’ll see at the end of the year”, they would not say, “maybe the Patriots can use him.” I have no problem with the sentiment that the future is uncertain and who knows what will happen, but I don’t want one of my favorite team’s supposed leaders entertaining thoughts of playing for a division rival…especially when it’s the team he’s lining up to play that week. I’d prefer a “no comment”.

Also...
…I don’t expect any athlete in this day and age to pledge allegiance to one franchise forever. I’ve been following professional sports far too long to ever expect that. I just don’t like his approach to this topic when we’re still (even if it’s only barely) in the hunt and a big game is coming up. Maybe I’m being naive, but this is a young team and I believe a lot of these players look up to JT and take their cues from him.
Go Dolphins.
