Dean's List for 1st Dolphins game

Being practically the only Dolphins fan on the Penn State campus, it's hard enough as it is to find my team on TV rather than see a game in person. I'm 20 years old and the only NFL games I have ever been able to see have been random Eagles games where tickets just happened to fall into my lap. But this year I was absolutely committed to getting to a game, especially after our miraculous season last year. So I used my best deal-making abilities and formed a plan...

In order to get into my major at school, I needed to keep above a 3.1 GPA by the end of this semester... a feat that really could only be definitely cleared by me somehow pulling out Dean's List through some pretty hard classes that included Physics, Engineering Mechanics, Advanced Calculus and Computer Science. But in order to make sure I had the right kind of motivation for this very 'exciting' task, I made a deal that if I did in fact make Dean's list, I would get to go to my VERY FIRST Dolphin's game on Sunday January 3rd, at our very own LandShark Stadium.

It was possibly the longest and most mentally draining semester of my life, but I just got my final grade back today and made Dean's list by exactly 0.4 ... which means I get a spot in my Engineering Major (hooray ?) BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY, will be taking up a spot TO SEE THE DOLPHINS BEAT THE STEELERS AND MAKE THE PLAYOFFS FOR THE SECOND YEAR IN A ROW!!

This means this will be the first game that I am not able to sign into The Phinsider and follow the conversations while monitoring NFL.com, but I think you all will give me a pass for this week ha. I want to just say that I will be going nuts at this game and refuse to leave until Ive developed some sort of throat problems from screaming so loud. I expect you all to hold down this site as we always do, and I'll do my best to make you proud.

If you go to the game, look for me to be rocking a white dolphins Jersey with my last name Cudwadie on the back (I was always afraid to buy a player's jersey in fear of them being traded ha... I wanted a Culpepper jersey...nuff said.)

if someone gifted tix to you, congrats, but...

if you had to celebrate the deans list with your own hard cash, then even better. Do yourself a big time favor and bring a camera, take tons of pix,and dont be too cool to take chances with your pix….Documentation and dedication..You dont want to forget the memories of your 1st game….then post em here…

All funding for this game is coming straight out of my Summer job fund haha.

Dont worry, I’ll be taking TONS of pictures ha.

Hopefully Henne will put up about 5-6 TD’s for me while Im there.

Yeah

until your sophomore year you just get accepted into your respective “college”. So for example, I am a statistics major, so when I got accepted as a freshman, I only got accepted into the College of Sciences. I have to apply for entrance to my major as a sophomore.

Glad to know theres more than one dolphins fan on campus haha. For the MNF game vs the Jets, I was literally the only kid wearing a Dolphins Jersey on campus. ha
