Chris Johnson Rips Ginn Jr

According to the miami hearld chris johnson was attending a party on south beach where Ginn Jr and Porter amoung other dolphins we're in attendance. apperantly Chris challenged Ginn to a foot race set a time and place to meet and Ginn never showed up. he went on to say him and ginn shouldnt be mentioned in the same sentence and that Johnson and Usain Bolt are the better comparison. now i'm sure it took mando a couple of hours to piece together what he actually said considering you really cant tell what Chris is saying on the first listen. my question to you is do you feel Chris might have actually lit a fire under teddy for at least this game or are we going to see the same ted out there sunday.

MANNN

That would be an interesting race but i got my money on ginn…hopefully he will be in the gameplan sunday and hopefully show off that speed

Johnson is faster in 40.

Ginn takes the 100 by a step.

LOL, CJ's fast but he's a short strider

Ginn is a long strider and a long strider destroys short strider’s any day of the week. Captain obvious example Usain Bolts a long strider.

Kind of sucks he didn’t show up though. Most likely he didn’t show up do to running on the street is extremely dangerous due to running at speeds below 4.4 and you wouldn’t know who’s that fastest runner officially since Miami streets suck. He should have at least called him and had it moved to a track where it would have been safe and you’d really know who’s that fastest.

What's so dangerous about running fast??????

I seriously doubt Ted didn’t show up because of safety issues….

He knew he was gonna get burned and decided to stay out of the spotlight

I prefer having a player

that knows when to turn his back on a challenge. Ginn put his speed on display several times this season already. I’m glad he didn’t squander his season of maybe even career getting hurt on some stupid midnight foot race. It shows he’s mature, humble, and takes the Dolphins seriously. Unlike CJ who will put it all at risk for some chest beating….

by Red Dog on Dec 17, 2009 12:23 AM EST up reply actions

ginn has longer strides which means hes gonna be more powerful at the end

johnson would get off to a quicker start… so depends on how of a race it is…both have a good chance

and Ginn ran a 4.3ish..thats how much of a difference in reality

and like MrMedic pointed out, that is just to the 40. Ginn has bursting speed, unlike Johnson who is just fast at first

by dolphinsinbuffalo on Dec 16, 2009 8:36 PM EST up reply actions

Ginn actually has the fastest unofficial 40 yard dash time with a 4.06 out of any football player

his official time was 4.28 (wiki) but I read somewhere else it was around 4.3 but also take into consideration he was comming off of a serious ankle injury going into the combine, pure speed I would have to give it to Ginn guy was a huge track star and a national champ thats what got him into Ohio State in the first place, he may not have the first step over Chris but in the long haul Ginn would win.

I love how CJ disses the Big Ten as a slower conference (which it kind of is)

I jumped off the run Teddy out of town bandwagon

when he got up off is ass, beat Sharper to the end zone and slapped it free at the 3 yard line. He didn’t get the call but definitely made the effort. That was good enough for me.

He was the difference in both Jet games for goodness sake.

The Titans aren’t very good against the pass so he should get some chances to make some plays. I hope he takes advantage.

And everybody knows that drunken commitments

do not count. If they seriously made arrangements after a few shots of tequila, I don’t see how Johnson expected Ginn to remember and/or take it seriously.

I’m sure Ginn was like look at this moron and all bias aside i think Ginn takes him 40 would be close but anything more and Ginn hands down!

I hope CJ gets shutdown and Teddy gets a chance to show some confidence. i hope a lit a fire under his ass, and I hope NFL network, ESPN, the Miami herald, Sun Sentinel and other media talks about it ALL week!!!! because I want this dude to do the things he did at OSU. And just look at Chris Johnson like, “WHAT NOW.”
