Sims-Walker doubtful?

Wow, that would be huge if he doesn’t play sunday. They’ll only have the old timer in Holt which he should be covered by SSmith. Wow, that’s just freaking huge, if he didn’t practice today and they play him against VD it will be a disaster waiting to happen.

Sims-Walker, Henderson, and Mathis

the 2 best defensive players, and their top WR, all doubtful. I can’t imagine that they don’t play, this is a playoff game. The Jags have Indy and the Pats on their schedule following us, so a loss Sunday could start them on a slide right out of the wildcard..

So, everyone on that list I expect to see dressed and trying to go Sunday.

probably BUT...

if they aren’t at 100%, we still have an advantage…it’s do or die and this team has been resilient. We did it last year, if they can do it again…it’s a dawning of a new age!

Buffalo

was missing almost their entire o-line and managed to beat us. It’s all about motivation and execution.

Mathis is a game day decesion

Montavius Stanley got all the reps in Big John’s place; Mike Thomas could play in MSW-s place.
SO yes I can imagine that all 3 will sit out; i give the best shot to Mathis to play.
MSW is a blow; but I think David have enough arget without him; I expect the TEs to get a very big role.
Henderson is the player I’M worry veeeeeeery much-He is one of the reason that the Run D was a stonewall. Stanley is not a bad player; but not Big John.
If these 3 players will not play I give 40-60% to win for the Jags.

By the way Nick Grove is most likely out; what kind of impact could that mean to Miami?

You mean Jake Grove?

we were missing him vs NE, which may have contributed to our pass-happy offense just as much as the weaknesses in NE’s secondary, but Wilfork had a limited impact on that game vs our backup center, and Berger has done well filling in this year, so I’m not too worried about that.

The 3 doubtful's are the best players on their team.

If they are out we may have a chance.

With Jones hurt, maybe will see Oglesby a few plays?

Like Little Nicky posted. I seriously doubt Sims walker dosen't play. This sounds like something Bellicheat would pull.

If true though it would definately make things easier. How did Sim-walker apparently get hurt. Anyone?

I think he pulled it when he was running a route last game

It wasn’t anything gruesome if i recall correctly

According to Omar from The Sun-Sentinal...

He pulled his calf muscle in practice on Wednesday. If he doesnt go, this will give our secondary one less threat to worry about. Damn I wish I could drive to Jacksonvile.

i wont even get excited about those 3 guys NOT playin

Me thinks mathis will be out but if Henderson AND Sims-Walker don’t go there’s no way we lose…sorry TealDeal lol.

No worries, I'll personally get a electronic cowprod

and herd them into the locker room then out to the playing field. If needed, I’ll also line up behind them if they need a little “motivation”

uh no, let them NOT play

We run the ball well as it is but It would be better for our Gaurd rotaion if big number 98 doesn’t play.

by Superzoe92 on Dec 11, 2009 9:18 PM EST via mobile reply actions

If henderson cannot play

Attiyah Ellison and Montavius Stanley would be his replacements. Both are average rotational DTs. It wouldn’t be too dire for us.

im going to the jags game sunday

anyone have any tips about parking/tailgating. ive never been there for a jags game…but ive been to every fl-ga game for the last 6 years

i take your signatures and use them as away messages

some of the best tailgating is on the parking lots near

Gate 4. When you get inside the stadium fence go to the section og Gate 4-Gate 1. That’s where all the promotional things are. You’ll also see an escalator there, if you ride you’ll be smack dab next to the Bud Zone where all the in-stadium tailgating occurs.

fyi

if any of the 3 listed as doubtful are gonna play, i believe they need to be upgraded to “questionable” by Saturday night.

If we can't beat Jax at full strength then we do not deserve the playoffs...

- All we need to do is take care of business on our end and stop worrying about the strength of the other team
-
While I liked being AFC East Champions last year, I found no joy being a playoff team that gets bounced in the first round
- Although, I do think this team will get better each game over the next month as they learn to play with the new personnel (no Ronnie…) and start to polish the passing threat that emerged last week
-
So this game will be a battle. Jax week 17 we beat bad, Jax week 13 going to be a tough win

Breaking news!

Sims-Walker, Mathis and Henderson all out for today’s game! We had better take advantage of this.

by Dolphriend on Dec 13, 2009 10:01 AM EST reply actions

Actually
JAGUARSINSIDER
10:55 AM Sims-Walker is on the field right now testing his calf along with Rashean Mathis. Inactives are announced at 1130 am.

Henderson is definitely Out, however Mathis and MSW are game time decision and I’d bet at least one of them plays.

Link

http://blogs.nfl.com/2009/12/13/jaguars-without-three-key-contributors-vs-dolphins/

“WR Mike Sims-Walker (calf), DT John Henderson (shoulder) and CB Rashean Mathis (groin) are all being considered inactive by the Jaguars, with no expectation of a late turnaround.

That would leave the Jaguars without their top pass catcher, run stuffer and cover man for a game that ultimately could decide an AFC wild-card berth."
