Chad Henne
Chad Henne has really impressed me this year so far. As far as I'm concerned the numbers mean nothing at this point. Bottomline is he is making smart plays and has great potential. Look at him, he's got the size, arm, and toughness to be a star. Looking at him, I think of guys like Ben Roethlesburger, and Peyton Manning. All of his throws are right on the money, he just looks mediocre because of inability on the recievers part to catch the ball. I was most impressed on the last play of the Patriots game. That ball was a bullet to camarillo. Although it was a fantastic catch, it was also a fantastic throw. Not many quarterbaacks have the arm to make that throw.
I guess the purpose of this post was to show a little appreciation for Chad Henne. He is doing all that he can to help his team. He's tough. Remember that helmet to helmet by the Patriots...not many people get up from that. His demeaner on the field is impressive. I cant wait to see what this guy is doing in a couple years. Hopefully he is the star we all anticipate.

I voted for Pro Bowl quarterback, but I believe that the Wildcat will have to be very diminished at that point for him to enjoy a Pro Bowl season.

I agree
Not all of his throws are on the money, but he makes much fewer mistakes then I thought he would have in his first 5 games. Given our lack of receivers, I don’t see how he could look any better at this point.

He'll be between Pro Bowl QB and average QB
I think he’s going to be a good to very good QB. But the Dolphins will be a run-first team. So he won’t have the numbers to make the Pro Bowl.

At some point they have to give him the ball though. It's very rare to see a heavy run-first team
win a Super Bowl. Roehtlisberger was a key factor on the last one, Manning, Brady plus McNabb and Warner getting there etc. All of them Elite quarterbacks. I believe we need to be a balanced offense to have success.

I don't think people will mind if Chad Henne misses the pro-bowl, but leads the Fins...
to playoff win after playoff win and hopefully, Super Bowl victories (if the defense and defensive play calling improves)

Yeah, he'll be a solid QB for a smashmouth, physical offense

get him a number 1 receiver and he could very well be a pro bowl QB

Maybe not probowl cause there's a helluva lot of good QBs
but better than most.

one thing about Henne...
his WRs are not used to catching the kind of rifle shots he throws when the game is on the line and the ball absolutely, positively has to be there now. I know everyone is talking about needing a clear #1, but i am starting to think that ALL of our WRs look better when someone like CP is lobbing them the ball, nice and easy like.
If we get some guys who can catch fastballs, Henne will be a really good QB.

If he hopes to be a Pro Bowler
we need a #1 WR

get an O-line with protection...and
any qb can be pro bowl material…as long as there is someone to catch it…just cant think of anyone at this point that catches…ouch

he reminds me of Ben Rothlisberger
how he steps in the pocket and how he moves around, he also leads the team like Big Ben, like that game against the jets where he lead that 4 quarter comeback who ever said he is special is right
