I think Henne’s freshmen year proves what he could do if he had a dominant receiver to work with.
Even with unreliable receivers and an unreliable line, he is still showing some skills.
He is still a work in progress, but these things can only improve by playing time and practice reps, which he is finally getting.
An interesting question is which would you rather have now, Jay Cutler or Chad Henne?

NO QUESTION ABOUT IT. if his recievers and tight ends would quit dropping catchable passes, things could have been different the last few weeks. i wasn’t wild about henne until he started playing, he seems to have a very good grasp of the game, and should only get better. i think we have something that has a chance to be REALLY good.
