Keeping this loss (and season) in perspective

Hey, I just wanted to say

that i thought miami competed well with new england & just couldn't stop the big play

and their own lack of it on offense

But i'm not really down with this loss

fact is, miami is up and coming as I mentioned in my first blog here on the phinsider

In that blog I was expressing my confidence in the team to return to the playoffs for the second straight year but I guess there was major homerism in that article

This is still a 9 or 10 win team even if they don't make the playoffs

BTW this season isn't over till its over

Next year, dolphins will be complete and they will finally be ready

This is what it is all about

So, I don't bowl over and cry myself to sleep

I stand tall and lift my head up knowing this team is almost there

Think of all those years before last year

when the 'rebuilding' process was going

on

when there was patchwork done

previous administrations saw the building crumbling instead of putting solid building blocks

they threw mud and glue to hold together this organization

Well, thats over

and its on

but back to the present

let's see what happens from here on out

Because in final thought, a writer from the miami herald made this quote

"It is isn't going to be like this every week, it just won't."

Well Said

I have been saying something similar to this all season. We are about to head into our easier games finally whereas New England has a tougher road ahead of them. I am a big fan of intangibles and one of the biggest ones this week in my opinion was New England coming off a bye week. Surely they rested and prepared for our diverse offense. The bottom line is I think we are still going to post 10 wins this season and who knows what that will bring us… It won’t be a ring, but its definitely more to build on.

We are seeing the progression of Wake, Vontae, and Sean Smith out there. Next year will bring even more to be excited about. I have to believe that our team is only a year or two away from really competing in this league year in and year out for a long while. In the Trifecta we Trust!
