Was anyone else excited to see Pat White out there, i mean i was Worried, Excited, Shocked, and Angry when i saw him out there then seeing him break out one for 33 yards i started thanking the football gods. I mean that little man could also take a hit I'm surprised. Besides that it also helps the Wildcat be less obvious and it gives the experts something to Dickride since the Pats r due to fall to the Colts and Saints. Well, anyways tell me what u think

What about the 3 drives KILLED because White was in there?

He had one good play.. why are so many people creaming over one good play? He SUCKS almost as bad as Ginn

Henne is now our leader. Lets see what the guy can do !

Im mad about Ginn most.. get the bum off the field unless its returning where maybe.. just maybe he can make a play or 2 for us.

And as for white… he has had 2 productive plays on about 13 or 14 snaps so far this season. He KILLS a drive more then he helps it. Its obvious.

So becaus ehe had 2 good plays and 1 ok play that makes up for him killing 2 other drives?

Really? You are all for trying to run him on 1st and 10 for no gain then keep him in on 2nd and 10 and let him run out and throw the ball away? Again for no gain THEN tell Henne.. well go in there and get us our 1st down on 3rd and 10 ?

Thats just plain stupid.

Yes Pat white had 3 good plays all year, but how people forget hes been on on something like 18 plays (give or take) and only gained under 50 yard total? Most of his plays were total busts. So throw him in there one or 2 plays here and there and if we gain good then good. But dont let him run a 2 and out then expect Henne to come in and convert on 3rd and 10. Taking your starting QB off the field for teh WC plays is bad enough and I feel it has killed SOME drives on its own.. but now letting White have 10 or 15 snaps a game too? This is not college.

How many bad plays in the wildcat did Ronnie have?

I know there were a few that didn’t go anywhere, but I don’t hear you calling for them to stop showing Ronnie in the Wildcat.

Here is the bottomline, we scored 2 TDs offensively. One of them was almost single handedly with Pat White moving the ball. Henne had the ball for how many plays? and he scored how many points? Wait, I will answer that for you…..3 more points than Pat White scored!!!

They guy is coming along….he is starting to show some of the things he can do, be patient….just like people have been saying about Henne. I wasn’t a big Henne backer, but I have been patient in reserving judgement. Give the OC and Pat White a chance to find their niche.

It's one more thing defenses have to prepare for.

Until today, nobody was afraid of Pat White coming in the game. Today, he proved that he is a threat that the defense needs to respect.

I would love to see White and Henne on the field at the same time, a la the A-11 offense.

Open to suggestions. Should we run the base offense that isn’t working? That defenses are sticking 9 in the box for because they know Henne can’t beat them?

On one of them he broke a long one, on the second half he had a 7 yard gain on first down and on our first TD drive, the 15+ yard run for the end zone was out of the Wild Pat, with him at quarterback handing a lateral pass to Ricky Williams. He was making plays all day, if you want someone of the field it should be Henne.

Right he had 2 good plays today.. didnt I say that ^^ there? But he took like 14 snaps.

You forget the drive where he was in there on 1st down.. no gain.. 2nd down.. no gain.. then stick Henne with a 3rd n 10?

Leave Henne in there and play football.

Its funny how so many forget the last drives of the last 2 losses where Henne drives the team VERY effectively. Yes the game is over for the most part but when he is in there and allowed to play football instead of comming in and out in and out.. we do OK. I do like the WC and run it when we can. But stop killing drives by trying trick new plays over and over. Trick plays do not win in the NFL on a regular basis. Use Henne and the normal WC packages and get good at them. Get Henne a #1 WR and dump Ginn and if Bess doesnt ship up dump him as well. Stop hoping you get #1 players from the citco store down the street and pick up true #1 players and pay what it takes. Or freaking draft a true #1 WR.

Disagree.

WildPat opened up lanes because it’s run with Ricky and Ronnie as emergency outlets. Most of the time, at least ONE of them will have a lane and break free and, at worst, they get a regular running play off.

Not saying Pats wouldn't have still won it, because they probably would have

but we certainly didn’t make it tough for them. No excuses, it was terrible play, but I know that we can play better.

But when you say "we lost the game" and stuff like that I can relate it

to the Colts game or the Saints game, where, yes, we lost the game. But today, we didn’t “lost” the game. We did nothing to win it. Awful defense, bad quarterbacking, bad receiving, no pass rush, no wildcat, no play calling, against awesome QB, awesome WR, excellent coaching staff. So really, what did we loose? Im not bashing you at all, just the general opinion.

We got beat….and in my opinion it was more in the coaching department. We failed to make the needed adjustments in order to win. If you ask most people if you hold the Pats to 27 points, what are your chances of winning the game, I think most people would say pretty good. We played well in most of the phases of the game. We lacked spark throwing the ball, and putting pressure on the QB.

I personally think the OC got too creative by trying to throw so often…..I would have been pounding the rock via the R&R express. Run it more out of the base formation and set up the play action to go deep, or hit the RB on a screen pass. If we aren’t trailing big, I don’t see why Ronnie doesn’t carry the ball 20 times a game with Ricky getting at least 12-15 touches.

How many drives did Henne lead that we had to punt? Seems to me that Ricky stumbled without being touched when he was heading up the wildcat. Don’t hear you screaming about drives he killed.

Henne is good!

But PW open some stuff, some things
I still beleive that Henne should be the #1 QB, but PW should get some more leach. Let him play his stuff, not a take the ball and run, but a snap the ball and look aroound, Freze the LB’s if nothing is there , THEN RUN, like ur life is on stake

I just dont get how so many people still believe in Ginn and think using White is the solution.

As I said above.. has anyone else noticed that when theres 40 secs left and we are losing and the game is out of reach they let Henne play we always move the ball? Doesnt anyone else see this? I think all the BS (outside of the regular WC used on maybe 30% of the plays) causes more issues then it gives us positives.

Play football stop trying to win every game with some trick plays. Its not working. How about spend more time in practice practicing to get better at catching? tackling? running? blocking then spending time making up some new trick play for White (or whomever)

The regular WC works when the passing game is working ok too. Get a true #1 and the running game will open up. Get better at blocking for Henne and he will find someone open.

I've noticed this disturbing little trend as well

And I don’t understand the lackidaisical attitude of our offense. If we get down by 2 scores with 6 minutes or less, we quit. Straight out, we quit. No hurry up scores, then kick the onside and actually make an effort. No, we dick around for 4 minutes until we hit one minute, and then we decide to make an utterly pointless journey to the enemy goal-line. NEWSFLASH: The games already over!!!

But UNTIL all those thing happen(#1 WR, OL that block 4 Henne, etc) then Henne is not very usefull. U better have some1 that can run for his life in there. Just pointing that out. Cause we can BITC**** all we want, but the REALLITY is another.

I don't think...

…you can really use the last 40 seconds as proof (if you’re using the Patriots game) because the defense was playing LOOSE prevent, with the coverage 20 yards off the receivers. Of course he’s going to make the pass, the defense only cares about stopping the score, not the pass.

on a snowy day. The good thing is that next week’s game against Tampa now actually has some excitement to it since rookie qb Freeman had a hell of a game today on his first career start. We loose that game and heads are going to start rolling.

Only reason the Titans are winning...

…is that they’re not forcing VY to make any plays. They’re using CJ to set up the pass, which is perfect. VY has been used to move the chains, and not being relied upon to make the scores. They’re slowly bringing him in, which is good for him.
