I should have picked that ball off and run for 100 yards, I could start with that. God! And then on the play when Braylon scored, it was supposed to be a bracket with me and the safety on him. But I kind of misplayed my leverage and pretty much didn't use my safety at all. I put myself in a bad position, where the ball shouldn't even have been thrown over there. The play we had, the call was perfect. I just had a mental lapse and I kind of put myself in a bad position. Small things like that, things that shouldn't happen...I guarantee that isn't happening again.

i love this kid. and the thing about when he says it won’t happen again, i actually believe him. I gotta say I have faith in our corners this week. they’re confident but they own up to their mistakes, these guys are gonna be great for a long time. not only that, but he’s from the U of U, gotta love that! representing the alma mater!

Smith and Davis

Can’t say enough about those two. Considering the position they were drafted in you can’t ask for more.

Here’s a good point to those who doubt if Patrick Turner might still be a factor this season. I figured Clemens (who also looks to be a plesent surprise) wouldn’t have much of an impact at this point and after his showing last week I’m generally excited.

They’ll mix it up at WR sooner or later.

Here’s to Sean Smith shutting down Moss on Sunday, raise em up.

A lot of Upside!

I got to admit, even before the draft I was praying we took this kid and was so happy we did especially after we passed up guys like nicks, britt, and maulaga…he will def be one of the top corners in the league for years to come and im not worried about when he’ll get his first pick, but it would be nice for it to come this week.

I trully hope TS and Parcells are grooming Turner like they did with Miles Austin, he was on that team for 3 years before he got into the starting role and look at him now. Davis is as physical as they come and if your a true dolphin fan, you know our team is stacked for the future starting with the 0-line, qb, rb, d line, d-backs…we just need to tie up the linebacker and wide receiver position which in my opinion are the two hardest positions to asses and scout but i have faith in our personal…now if we can just beat these pats we’ll be ok, if you guys remember last year their defense let pennington do what he pleased and I have faith Henne can and will be successful against them, but I rather see R&R have 300 yards plus and keep Brady under 250…we NEED PRESSURE…look at the steelers, they pressue at all times and that is what helps them be so successful, im not sure why the coaching staff is holding wake back but this would be a good game to unleash him…have roth, porter, wake and JT rotating and keep them all fresh and attacking brady at all times!

Austin

Friend of mine played with Austin at Monmouh. Looked like a HS team, its amazing that’s where he played. Miles told him he had a bunch of teams to choose from but Parcells called himself and wouldn’t let him say no.

Monmouth has really jumped miles in just over the past few years, especially with Nalbone being drafted. Along with Rutgers, NJ actually has a few options for young players which didn’t really exist 10-15 years ago. At least not if you wanted to develop.

Jersey does have a lot of up and coming schools, especially with don bosco prep being one of the top high school football programs in the nation. I personally am from northern jersey and have to debate against many jets fans that like you all know, dont know when to shut up…i personally think our team will be the team to beat come two years from now and on…brady and moss will slowly pass their prime, jenkins is past 30 as is faneca…and i personally don’t think braylon will stay on that team past this team, especially if henne and jake long can convince him to come to miami, where he initally wanted to be drafted and have that michigan connection back. I personally hate everyone on the jets but braylon if you saw helped our players up and even patted vontae on the back for his pick on the two point conversion, i think he personally isn’t trying to burn any bridges and with him, and i think vincent jackson and brandon marshall free agents, if the trifecta can manage to land just one of these i think our offense is set and done considering all those three are young and the tri fecta isn’t completely opposed to bringing in stars as long as they see them as drama free and hard working and not needed to be over paid…i mean you all saw how much we were willing to invest in grove, wilson, wilford…why not on a position that we need even more on and on top tier players, clearly we thought about braylon enough through the rumors in the offseason and up to the deadline and i think they would love a player like vincent who you never hear in the media and produces every sunday, not to mention he’s 6’5 and the trifecta drools over oversized players, hence why we are the biggest team in the nfl based on avg weight…lets hope we pull the trigger when it counts

ahem-

clearing my throat, I must say that Matty and I TOLD EVERYONE SO! Special shout-out to those who were with us that Smith was gonna be HUGE. Definitely the Surtain/Madison combo for years to come. I was also excited about Clemons, especially when I heard last week that he was going to start. These guys are playing with a ton of heart, and are using their heads too. BUT, I gotta say that Gibril kicked it up a notch last week, FINALLY! Best game wilson has played thus far…..maybe he should be benched more often!
