PrintCan you dig it suckers? I in my opinion think he is the future and i am very happy we got him where we did. He is certainly a franchise QB and can be as spectacular as any QB if given a chance. He could bring as much excitement to this team like when Dan Marino played, i would love that. Here is a clip of when he played in the Senior bowl:

I don't know about ya but I love Chad Henne and I hope and i bet ya are hoping the same thing, that he becomes a very Good Pro like Manning and Brady, or a Legend like Marino or Montana either one I'll be happy with both.
Well that's about it the main idea for this post: Chad Henne is our future whether you like it or not, so you might as well get on the bandwagon now before he becomes BIG and makes you look like a Jackass. I mean seriously look at him:

I'm happy with him so far.
He is all ready having a better starting year than Peyton had when he was first taking snaps under center. I know Chad is not a rookie, but he pretty much is being that this is his first year starting. I see great things from this kid in the near future. I like where we are going.

Consider – Peyton Manning, he of guaranteed 1st ballot HOF status, never so much as beat UF in college. Danny Wuerffel from what I hear, is a charity minister these days but not much of a football player :-)
I care about Henne’s play solely in the pro’s and so far, he’s getting it done.

That only helps Henne’s cause against the naysayers; “Henne never beat Ohio St.”
So?
I just think this game says a ton about his poise and ability to step up in the pocket and make a huge throw under pressure or in a big-game situation. It seems to be translating nicely to the pro level.

I gave PW a vote, just because.
However I think Henne will be closer to Fiedler than Marino. Good, but not great.
The torch has been passed, and Henne has added fuel to the fire!
