Any more starters going down?
Time for a little perspective on this season and why I think our future is so bright!!!!!!
Going into this season, one might argue that the 4 players starting at the 4 most important positions for our team were: QB (Pennington), RB (Ronnie Brown), CB (Will Allen) and NT (Jason Ferguson).
DONE. GONE. All of them.
What do we have left? Not much of a playoff chance but a very bright future. One that is so bright I bet we're every sports-writers chique pick for a Super Bowl run next year.
I've posted before that i would like to see less of the WC and more of a traditional NFL offense. On Thurs night, my wish came true. I think that Ronnie Brown is our biggest loss of the season and I hope like hell we re-sign him but I think the Carolina game was the official start of the Chad Henne era in Miami. I loved watching him play a whole game and lead us to yet another victory. At 5-2 I couldn't have asked for more. Without Ronnie, we ran the ball out of a traditional set and we had one of of our best rushing games of the year. And watching Vontae Davis play made me wonder why we ever started Will Allen coming out of training camp. Ferguson will be a big loss, but we will overcome it.
With 5 losses the playoffs are a long shot but still not out of reach, but I can't wait for the rest of the season.
GO DOLPHINS!!!!

Playoffs
Not much of a chance – Sacrilegious I say. Our main competitors are coming back to us, while we are moving forward in the win column. Never say Never, say why not US…
CP10 and P.Cobbs get well soon

Henne and the WR
Very good point about Henne … I agree that the only good thing about the Brown injury is that we will be more traditional and this may give us a chance to see what we really have with Henne and at the WR position. I think something that gets missed with the WC is that it also takes the WR out of there game rhythm aswell as the QB so there is no more excuses now for either of them.
