Jason Ferguson expected to go on IR

This is bad news, as it sounds as if starting nose tackle Jason Ferguson's season is over.

For some reason I knew this story was going to come out.

There was a list of people I heard on teh radio today that were added to IR across the NFL, and I was surprised Ferguson wasn’t on it. I don’t know why, but I fully expected to hear this. Soliai better step up!

The look he had after he got hurt and when he slammed his helmet down gave away that his season was probably done

like he could just tell….it makes me so mad. Who doesn’t love Ferg? The guy is awesome and if he goes on he will be truly missed.

What is with this season...

People say its due because of the lack of injuries last year…F-THAT! You dont lose Pennington, Cobbs,Brown, and Fergie all to IR just beacuse your “due”. It is a credit to the team and coaching staff for getting back to .500 with what were going through.

Ugh, this loss is huge. He’s our most consistent guy on defence and seems to give the whole line more confidence when he’s there. Hopefully Soliai and co. can step up for the remaining games — that is if nobody else on our damned team gets a season-ending injury :(

Aside from a new NT next year

I read that when Starks played at NT, the opposition had 135 yds on low-30’s carries. Also there is McDaniels. Question to you more knowledge fans – why can’t BOTH Starks and McDaniels be used with 2 DE’s. With Taylor at OLB, it’s like having 5 DL rushing the QB. What am I missing? Thanks.
