Your "Man-on-the-Street" does not rest. Not while I'm on an extended vacation. If it's Dolphins related, I'm going to try to be there,..period. So, today was different. I caught wind of a charity event for a little boy who was covered in alchol and lit ablaze by some neighborhood bullies. I think bullies is an understatement, poor kid. The news reported that he took his first step yesterday after over a month in the hospital. As a physical therapist by profession I can only imagine how hard it must be. KEEP WORKING KID, WE'RE ALL PULLING FOR YOU !!!!!

It was sunny 85 degree Florida day with a large crowd. Very much like a carnival,....Santa show up on a fire trunk, facepainting, cotton candy, a silent auction, a 50/50 raffle, an Elvis tribute band. Good times !!!

The Dolphin Cheerleaders showed up as well. But if you ask me, they got nothing on my gal....

The Florida Panthers mascot was also there working the crowd. I had to ask him, "Who's a bad man ? " . This was his response.......Good answer !

First thing i said was I told Bess, " Solid game, great job !".Then I asked if he remembered me from when we met last season at Comp USA. He said he did, and seemed really sincere about that. COOL ! I told CP10 about how we traveled from Ohio to NY, and now we're here. He seemed impressed, he ought to be,......lol. I got all three of there on my 2009 team ball, bring the signature count to 11 in just under 2 weeks !!! I also got Pat Whit to sign a mini helmet. On my way out Pat said " nice ball". I flipped it over and said, "come on, .....it's a Franklin."

The collection grows, and so do the memories for this Ohioan !
