As your self proclaimed Phinsider "Man-on-the-Street" I felt obligated to check the live broadcast of the 1st Channing Crowder Show. Nice thing was, again it happeded 6 miles from where we are staying in Ft Lauderdale.  How could I not go, right. Say what you will about him as a player, but the dude spent 15-20 minutes chatting with me & my Wife before and after the broadcast. Personally, I like him as a player. Dude is mean on the field and I love that.

Man we gabbed about all kinds of stuff, .....some football, some not. 1st thing I asked was if he talked with Zac Thomas lately. "I talked with him today" he said. Zac is doing fine he goes on to tell me. As you know I go to a few home games a year and I was telling my Wife about all the sweet cars I see the players have. Then I proceed to tell her about how last year I see Channing leave the game in this total beater, thing looked like it was about 5 miles from the junkyard !!! Bumper tied on with a coat hanger, shot muffler, no grill, dinks & dents everywhere,.......I mean this thing was a total wreck !!! He told me all about it & how he got it. I told him about how I had met him once before, up in Detroit in the Hotel the night before the Thanksgiving day game and all about some of my Dolphin adventures. I went on to show him some of my pictures that were on my camera from our trip to NY and my encounter with some '72 Dolphins the night before. We talked about the Rex Ryan thing and the hair pulling thing rom last year. Dude is funny !!!

I heard he likes to fish, and I mentioned how I like to go out in a kyack looking at gators. He went to say how they'ld catch a bunch of baby gators, put them in the boat, they started squawking, then the mommas would start coming toward the boat due to the sound of the young ones as they drove away. Funny stuff.

After Channing took off for the show, Marky Mark ( the WQAM guy ) chatted with us a bit and I told him about some of my adventures. I didn't think much about this at the time. But about half way through, he called me up to the front. Here he gave my a 4X6 autographed action shot of Channing,.......SWEET. I didn't have the heart to tell him that I already had an autographed  8X10 that I won the year before a the stadium. SO,........1st Phinsider that says in the comments " OFF4L is a nut-job ! ", just like that,...........BAM !!!! I'll send you the picture he gave me last night. I've heard some people comment about my collection of memorabilia,......so now it's time to share the wealth or give back, if you will. I love this place, thanks for putting up with me.

It was a great show, and I have to say the food at The Red Zone Cafe was outstanding !!!! When it was over Channing came back and hung out with us for another 15 minutes or so. Again we talked about a bunch of stuff. I told him about some of my hockey stories, then that spun into hockey fights, boxing, and MMA. Earlier, before the show, I asked about the hit he took from Smith. That topic was funny. He said " I late hit so many people, they're looking for me. " He went on to say it didn't hurt and it's already happened 6-7 times so far this year. Dude is a gamer, tough as nails, and not lacking with his conversations skills. SOLID !! Before he had to go, he told us that Tanya ( my Wife ) could be Joey Porter's Wife . He was like " man I looked over and thought what's Joey's Wife doing here" ? After hearing of some of stories about me scrapping on the ice, he told me Joey might be a handful for me. AH YEAH,.....dudes a beast, not to mention I'm 44. When he heard me say that he didn't believe me, until I told him a few times and my Wife confirmed it too. It was a great time, and I got a picture with him signed, my 2009 ball signed, and as you can see a bunch of new pictures !!!!!

As he was leaving I told him to rip somebody's head off up in Buffalo. He said " for sure, no problem,.........they suck !!" CLASSIC !!
