One of the easiest positions to hate on is the position of Wide Receiver. Why you ask, well they are cocky to the max, run their mouths like crazy, and I'm jealous of a lot of them because they aren't on our team. So again you didn't ask for it but I'm giving it to you all anyway: Wide Receivers I just can't stand. Oh and note, sorry this took so long to come out, I was busy writing poems in CKCs and celebrating our victory vs the Jets and crying about the Saints game. So without further ado, this is finally out.
Look, I thought T.O. is funny but things changed. He destroys teams, he has been called a cancer, and now he is a Bill - what could be better. I was on the way back from a "We The People..." competition in Albany when I heard the great news that T.O. had signed with the Bills. All the Bills fans on the bus were high-fiving and talking about how the Bills were going to be so great now that T.O. signed with the Bills and blah, blah, blah.I kept laughing and told them that this was the greatest news that I could hear because now the Dolphins were sure contenders in the AFCE. I told them that it wasn't going to be what they though and T.O. was a joke, which was when I started calling him T.BLOW. Well are the Bills great now? No. Is T.O. awesome on the Bills now? No. So what do I say to that? "I told you so..." But they probably wouldn't listen but I think T.O's stats are speaking for him this year. 18 receptions for only 242 yards? 1 touchdown? Yeah, Bills fans he is working magic for you. I do have to give it to T.O. though, I thought when he disrespected the Dallas star that that was funny and all his touchdown celebrations were pretty funny too, and how he made the Cowboys collapse last year, yeah that was funny too. But now he is on the Bills and I couldn't be more happy for what he is "doing" for them:) But of course I still hate him. This is pretty funny.
What? Yeah T.J. Why? Well where to begin. Well I don't have very much of a reason other than he going back and forth with Joey Porter when he was on the Bengals and Joey was on the Steelers. For example take this video for example. Yeah some will say that Joey caused the feud but I don't care, I really like Joey's trash talking and the fact T.J. feuded with him gets him a spot on this list, other than that I have no problem with T.J.

I want to say I like Marshall but then I remember how he decided to call Joey Porter "soft" after our meeting in Denver last season, which we won. So to but my hate for Marshall into context, I'm going to include the quote of what he said about Joey.
"Yeah, Joey Porter's one of them guys, when you got guys who talk a lot of trash, just want to talk about people or put people down, they have their own insecurities," Marshall said. "And his insecurities I don't know. But he's definitely one of those guys who all those muscles are popcorn muscles. He's soft."
What? Yeah it gets worse.
"You know, we hear stories floating around the league all the time about him as far [as being] in nightclubs dancing with his shirt off like a girl or in the playground getting beat up back in California," Marshall said. "He's one of those guys that no matter how big he is, he can still get knocked on his butt and he's soft. He's soft at heart and you can tell by the way he talks.
"And his nickname is 'Peezy.' I don't know what 'Peezy' is," Marshall added, then paused and leaned forward to deliver the punctuation: "Joey!"
Of course it makes me laugh, how couldn't it. If you are so inclined to watch the interview you can find it here but in the end I think Joey won that one. I remember when this happened and I'm sure most of you do too but what I remember the most is reading comments on NFL.com and the like about how people though Marshall would win that fight, yeah against and OLB Brandon would have him. Stupid.

Yeah, I gotta do it. He plays for a rival and the thing with my lists is that that fact alone will get you on here. But besides that point, I've got some others. But let me point out that it pains me to know that Randy was Pennington's go to guy at Marshall and hey, speaking about Marshall let's see a quote that Randy had to say about the 1970 team plane crash: it "was a tragedy, but it really wasn't nothing big." Offensive? Yes. Taken out of context? Yeah, probably. But no the less it is a reason to respect him less. Moss has been accused of dating violence, has admitted to using marijuana off the field, and some have even claimed he lacks effort. In the end Moss is a good wide receiver and I wish we had him on our team, but as a Patriot I have to make up reasons that I could care less about to act like I hate him. Hey how about that fake mooning to the Green Bay fans when he was a Viking? Hilarious.
Braylon Edwards, Jerricho Cotchery, David Clowney, the whole Jets team, all their fans, Rex Ryan, Mark Sanchez, Bart Scott, Dustin Keller, Fireman Ed, 
I can keep going and I don't even need reasons. I hate the Jets and all their players, they are a disgrace to the NFL and need to act like respectful adults. Enough said.

Well, I agree with most of your list DIB.
TO and Moss are definitely up there, but I gotta disagree on TJ Housh. Despite some division rivalry trash talking and ‘feuding’ with Porter back on their old teams, I still like the guy.
So here is my official list in no particular order:
1) T.O. – He is just overall too much of an arrogant ass for me to ever like him. He has too much of a ‘me’ attitude to be helpful to a team.
2) Randy Moss – I dislike him for a lot of the same reasons at T.O., until he got to New England he was a big selfish ‘me first’ player. He’s gotten better recently, but you can still see some of the arrogance from time to time.
3) Hines Ward – I’ll be completely honest, I fucking hate this guy. I wish he would just retire so I never have to see him again. I understand that he plays hard and is a hard hitting blocker when he doesn’t have the ball. But he takes pride in delivering blindside blocks that are borderline dirty. Plus, when he broke that Bengals guy’s jaw last year, not once did he say he ever felt bad that the guy got hurt. I’m not saying he should have apologized for the hit, because it was a legal block, but at least feeling a little bad that the guy was out for the season would have lowered Ward on my Douchebag-O-Meter.
4) Brandon Marshall – Honestly, you said it just perfectly DIB. I feel the same way about Marshall, and I also don’t like all his off the field bullshit.
5) Every single person associated with the Jets organization. Players, execs, fans, and Fireman fuckin’ Ed.

I understand why, but I disagree. I absolutely LOVE the way he plays, and I’d LOVE to have him on my team. The guy is physical, relishes the big hit (blindside hits put fear in defenders) and plays his ass off on every snap. He’s also a damn good WR. Guys that feel bad about hurting people don’t last long in the league.

I'm not denying that he's a good receiver
but to me, there’s a difference between playing hard and physical and the “I hurt a guy and knocked him out for the season. Sucks to be him.” attitude he seems to exude. Just my personal opinion though.

He plays physical because he knows that the defenders are trying to do to him the same thing that he is trying to do to them. He never complains when someone lights his ass up and simply returns the favor. Like he said…..“they should be looking!”

To me there is a difference between SWAGGER and being an asshole. I live in the DC area which is entirely too close to Baltimore for me and I am subjected to the prick all over the TV here. The SWAGGER carries over off the field.
He has a GOD complex and B-more only feeds it. Not to mention that I am sick of him. He doesn’t sign autographs unless the press is there to catch him, or he gets paid to do it, and he really isn’t that great of a “give to the community” guy either.
There are some players that rub me wrong, and he is on the top of the list. (Kind of like DIB and her Peyton Manning choice)

He is loved by the fans up here even though I don’t think that he really does enough for the community in my book. He is a great leader and has played at a high level for a long time. I am open minded enough to give a player his credit even though i don’t like him.
I wouldn’t even ask him for an autograph if I saw him, that’s how much I dislike him. (And to think, I love virtually any player that comes from the state of Florida)

you don't really hallucinate on mushrooms unless you take A LOT
i usually only take like 3 grams and then it’s just light fractals and feeling giddy. i prefer not to drive on them, but in all honesty you could and not have a problem. i like to jes relax and listen to righteous jams or watch Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas

I worked @ gamestop when I was younger, then i worked at this call center, but everyone was ridiculously high all the time and kept grabbing my johnson. i tried my hand at school but everytime i would go back i’d get mixed up in teh wrong crowd and end up reverting back to the ganj and sherking my responsibilities.

I have never said I don't respect him as a player
I have simply stated he is an asshole and I don’t like him. Would I welcome him on my team, in his prime….yeah maybe…but until that time I will enjoy hating him and I would probably hate him even with him on my team.
Now Ed Reed is a different story, no bad feelings for him other than he plays for the Ravens, and besides Troy Palomalu, I think Reed is the best Safety in the game and would love to have him on my team.

I know it drives my wife (from SoCal) crazy when I rant and rave about the different players from the U, UF, or FSU (yes I like them all, I guess you can say it grows from being stationed in San Diego for almost 15 years….I just got tired of hearing about all the “west coast” schools, so I put aside my interstate rivalry and learned to love them all….now to include USF and UCF).

My gf works for UF, and the deal was she would become a vegetarian if I became a Gators fan… well it’s been about 6 months and she hasn’t had any meat (she even started cooking vegetarian) and I just can’t shake my innate hatred for the Gators. I was raised to hate, hate. HATE them.
FSU, well them I don’t like, but i feel bad for them lol
USF, glad they’re finally getting something going football wise, and it’d be great if the Canes had a rivalry with them cos I could pop over to Tampa to soak in a game.
UCF, well, I didn’t mind them until the UCF/UM game, they sucked so hard, and i almost was stabbed hah

Yeah....I used to be that way when I was younger
I was a huge Seminole fan, and my dad was a huge Hurricane fan…..but after a few famous “WIDE RIGHTS” I really started to hate the U. But as I got older, and started my military career where you have to deal with people from all over the country, coming from the state that basically controlled the National Title year in and year out was kind of cool. So I started to appreciate the dominance in talent (since most of our players are home grown) and appreciate the three power house schools that were in the sunshine state.
Now I don’t know that I really have a favorite of the three anymore, I kind of go where my favorite players are. I was a huge Percy Harvin and Tim Tebow fan so right now the Gators are probably number one. So the way I look at it…any team from the state of Florida beating ANY team from outside of the state of Florida is a great thing!!

See somewhere back in the past, when I was knee high to a grasshopper, my parents started lecturing me about the company that I keep and how it tends to be a true reflection of ones character. I agree. I do think that he learned his lesson and shaped himself up.

If a guy has a reason to be a loudmouth, then he should be a big talker, especially if he’s one of the leaders of your defense. Can’t you just accept that I don’t like Ray. I really don’t think that I need to justify why I feel a certain way about Lewis. Do I cheer when Porter makes a sack…sure do. Do I cheer when Ricky scores a TD, sure do. But I still haven’t completey forgiven Ricky for walking away at the beginning of a season and I still don’t like JP. For me, players that talk less and perform more are my favorites. Ray, JP, TO, Bart Scott, and players like that tend to rub me the wrong way.

Having grown up and owned a gun since I was 5 years old, they are second nature. Other than while serving on active duty I have never had to pull one and hope to keep it that way. But I also know that violent criminals fear the potential that their victims have a gun more than they fear jail or prison. The only difference is I will save the tax payer the money and give the cemetary some extra business should one happen to venture in my house.

I believe in peace through superior fire power. I saw the best sign the other day, it was on an email my dad sent. Had a sign in front of some guys house saying something like “My neighbor doesn’t support gun ownership and is trying to ban gun use, so in honor of him, I promise not to use my guns to protect him!”

i've had numerous guns pulled on me, when i was in elem school i saw a guy get shot in the head
and most of my family that has guns have ended up being shot with their own gun or using them to kill themselves. so i’m not a big “gun guy”, but i certainly understand that some people are. as long as you don’t point it @ me i’m a-ok with it, ya know?

Well it isn't the guns fault that the owner is a dipshit
I have had weapons safety drilled into me since I was 4 years old. I consider stupid gun owners as victims of “survival of the fittest”. You know….like the deer that is too stupid to notice the grizzly bear charging down on them.
I also really push weapon security if there are any kids in the house. Any time I have company that has children, ALL my weapons get locked up.

There is one in all the major rooms
Two pistols in the bedroom, one at the top of the stairs, one in the living room, one in the family room, one in the kitchen and one in the garage and the rest (substantially more) are in the gun safe…especially the high dollar weapons.

i was giving my lady a goodnight kiss, because we hadn't seen each otehr in over a week and he came up to teh window of her car
and told us to leave or go into the park (CIty Walk/Universal) so i held my tongue cos she gets nervous about security guards etc. then he was laughing @ me as i was walking back into teh parkt o meet my friends, rolling by on his queer bike and i snapped and yelled @ him. then i did the same at the other security guards who kept asking for my ID cos i had a beer. then they tried to arrest my friend cos he was finishing his beer as we were leaving the City Walk area. overall it was an awful night and i usually hold my tongue in check cos i try to be nice, but those guys got teh brunt of my anger cos they were douchebags
