An idea
We all know how Mr. Parcells, the big Tuna, feels about injuries. This does not bode well for Ronnie and his foot. Since he is most likely now going to be gone at the end of the season because with 2 season ending injuries in 3 years I just don't see him staying in Miami, what do you think of the idea of bringing in Dwane Bowe for Ronnie Brown in an even trade? 1. it would release a player that is on injured reserve for the rest of the season. and 2. it would give us our much needed number 1 with a few games for he and Henne to get used to each other before next season. I like Ronnie, don't get me wrong, but I'm starting to believe he's injury prone and his running style tells me that it's just a matter of time before he gets injured again. Being that Bowe has been suspended, I think his value has severely dropped. Tuna would not have to give up any of his cherished picks. I really don't see a negative in this.

except the trade deadline
has passed. It would have to wait until the off-season
Confidence breeds success, self-doubt breeds failure
absolutley not.
has bowe proven hes this great number one? ronnie is arguably a top 5 runner healthy and the triggerman for the only effective offense we have at the moment and you wanna trade him for a guy who just flunked his steroid test? keep ronnie, make a push for vincent jackson in the offseason, try hilliard out and if that fails draft someone to compliment ronnie when ricky leaves. ronnie had two freak injurys, its not like hes brian westbrook or Ladanian who are nicked up every single week… those are the guys parcells avoids.
No.
I don’t accept the premise that the front office would get rid of Ronnie because he’s “injury Prone.”

Nope
I say at the very least franchise him to at least give him another year to prove himself to the FO. I mean, he has a tendency to attract freak accidents. But he is still a great back. I think we are set on the RB postion. Keep Ronnie, because even if he can only play half the season he still can put up numbers and wins for us while he is healthy. And I believe once Chad Henne has got a year of starter experience under his belt, they will work more play action in, and let the kid pass more balls. Especially if we get a #1.
