Welcome back folks to an exciting new edition of Coast to Coast with MHTD. There have been some changes, like the name of this post for example, and now there are videos and pictures to stimulate the mind.  I would like to start by thanking "El Presidente 00" for his help, much appreciated brother…now on to the show…First I will start off with Dolphins news and then move on to the rest of the NFL.

Joey Porter was benched by TS this week without an explanation.  Speculation is running rampant with why this happened…

• Could it be because of injury? Well I don't think so…he would have been listed as probable, questionable or doubtful, not flat out inactive days before the game, so I don't think that was the case.
• Could it be because of poor performance? Again I don't think so.  Yes, he has been struggling, but so has the Linebackers as a group, and plus we don't really have very many options behind JP, and he may see reduced playing time or dropped on the depth chart, but not flat out benched…so once again I will rule this out
• Did he break a team rule? Or say something wrong?  I think this is the most likely scenario…Peezy does have a tendency to run his mouth, as we all know, and in the process he may have said something to piss somebody off, namely the head coach, and yes you are probably thinking that he pisses someone off every week, but that is usually the opponent, not the Head Coach of his own team…or he could have done something worse, something that I don't even want to speculate what he could have done, cause the possibilities are endless. 
•  Hopefully Wake can step in and have a great game, and the offense will stay on the field the majority of the game and won't have to worry too much about Porter's absence.
• Or maybe he was benched cause TS saw that pic…

Stephen M. Ross, our beloved owner of the Miami Dolphins, was inducted into the Miami Beach Senior High School HOF, where he is an alum, in the category of business…I didn’t realize he went to Beach High, my dad went there, and I almost went there, but it was/is too far from my house, so I decided to go to the school right around the corner from my house…Beach High has a lot of famous alumni that are famous in all walks of life

• • Some alumni include: Barbara Walters, Roy Firestone, and Barry Jackson in Journalism…Ellen barkin, Diora Baird, Andy Garcia, and Brett Ratner in Film, Theater, and Acting…Chad Johnson, Samari Rolle, Duane Starks, and Terry Cousin in Sports…and many more

• And now for the Dolphins big story of the week…
  • Ronnie Brown injured his ankle against the Bucs…or was it his foot?...either way this is a huge blow for us.  It has been reported that he was on crutches after the game and on Monday and there is some swelling…given this information and personal experience, I am going to say he will not play or be very very limited on Thursday against the Panthers…This is a very short week for us and I cannot imagine he will be fine by then…This means Ricky will take the carrying load, something we all have seen him do before…so although losing UPS (my new nickname for him…get it? Like what Can Brown Do For You?) will be a big blow, I am now worried, cause I know Ricky is very qualified...

Now this story is just ridiculous.  A maintenance worker for the Green Bay Packers, who has been with the team for over 20 yrs, was fired.  Why was he fired?  Apparently, as a maintenance worker you are not allowed to say any words of encouragement.  The worker, Mike Wood, saw coach Mike McCarthy one day before the game against the Vikings and yelled "Get the boys ready to kick some butt this weekend."  The team said he told the coach to "not lay an egg."  and they thought that was an inappropriate comment, and let him go…ARE YOU FUCKING SERIOUS?!?! How the hell are you going to fire a guy for giving words of encouragement?  This is a disgrace…People say worse things all the time, listen to all these radio and tv shows that bash the President of the U.S….the coaches that bash the officiating, I mean worse stuff happens all the time…and this IS NOT EVEN BAD, this is something a regular Joe on the street would yell out to the coach on the street, so should he get fired also?  This is unbelievable…I sincerely hope Mr. Wood sues the team for wrongful termination cause I think he will surely win this case… here is the link for the story:

The Washington Redskins reversed their ban on no signs in the stadium…this rule should never have been put into place…seriously? Why ban signs in a stadium? You are infringing on people's freedom of speech and once you do that, you are taking a big step towards a dictatorship…is that what Dan Snyder wants, a dictatorship? I guess maybe because signs can block the views of the people sitting behind the sign holder, but then that's an issue the two parties should work out on their own…and plus the sign holder should know when to raise and lower the sign, and if it becomes a nuisance then have security come and help resolve the situation and remove the sign if needed, but don't BAN it from the stadium all together...

Sexy Rexy Ryan is angry at his team for a poor practice…apparently he just realized that they SUCK, and they aren't going to make the playoffs…but hey, it was the last drills of the day, the team was probably pretty tired and lost some focus, and after all it was practice, but at least they all showed up…or maybe he was in a sour mood cause he missed his lunch, a big boy like that cannot miss his lunch or this happens…

The SNF game was a great game to watch, not only because it was truly a great football game between two great teams and 2 great QBs, but because on ONE play…you all know what I am talking about…Bill Belichick's decision to go for it on 4th Down…As the refs ruled a first down for the COLTS, I was jumping not because I knew the team I hated the most was about to lose, but because I knew the BEATING he would take by the media about this play all week…and every time I hear him talk about it, I just LMAO…this will be the sweetest week of the year

and the hilarious moment of the week goes to the Tennessee Titans owner, Bud Adams, for flipping off the Buffalo Bills bench towards the end of Sunday's game
