I just met Ronnie Brown !!!!!!

So, will checking out the local sports radio station down here ( 560 WQAM ) I discovered Ronnie does a weekly radio show. I'm not from here and these opportunities do not present them self to me to often. Since I'm not working yet, this is my little Dolphin vacation. Again this happened a mere 6 miles from where we are staying in Ft Lauderdale Beach, how could I not go. It went down in some high end restaurant in downtown Ft Lauderdale and there were only about 12-15 Dolfans there. SWEET BABY JESUS !!! I was able to get a picture signed that I got with him from his rookie year when they played in Detroit on Thanksgiving. I also got him to sign my 2009 team ball, it's now up to 7 signatures !! And, I got to get a couple more pictures with him !!
The place was totally nice, but the one thing that sucked was you couldn't hear the interveiw. It went down in the upstairs dining room. They were in a corner booth, while the rest of us sat a surrounding tables. I'm sure they talked about his ankle/foot injury, but we couldn't hear what was said. I got a second picture after the show was over and got to chat with him for a few moments as there was hardly any fans there. I didn't bother to ask him about his foot, if you know me, you know I am going to go in a "different" direction. I said, " Ronnie, next time you score,...do that thing where you run across the goal line with the ball out in front of you with your arms extended ! That shit is too sweet ! " He said, " I'll try". NO, I say,..........."DO IT Ronnie, I know you got it in you". I continue, " or does the Coach get upset when you do that ? ". With his boyish smile he says, " He doesn't care as long as I score."
Dude was totally cool and very accomidating. And, he didn't look as if he was in any pain while standing with his crutches.
After it was all said and done, he went to another table with his PR person and some radio guy. During that time, my wife, was talking up a storm with some other fans wife. Now, there are only his table, us four, and like 3 other people. The four of us stood about 25 feet from their table and my Wife was having a regular giggle fest talking about all things female ( hair, weddings, weird habits of their husbands, so on & so on... ). I could have swore Ronnie kept looking over at us like he want to hang out,........or hit on my Wife ??
All in all, another good time with a Dolphin superstar. For this Ohioan that loves the Dolphins, this too cool.........

i met him THE FIRST DAY he was a Miami Dolphin. At the Draft in NY, i met his brother too and was talking to him for awhile. They were both really nice guys. Ronnie is a class act and a dolphin HOF’er

I met him in 05 shortly after the draft at a sports card convention bought a mini helmet and had him sign it very nice guy down to earth hopefully he is ok and will be a phin for life
