Thursday night games. Ahhh, I hate them. Also hate the fact that ill be on the way up to Samford that night and won't be able to watch cuz we got a game against Samford that Saturday!!! Anyway, I come in peace and these are my faults.
Anyway, I haven't seen any of the Dolphins this year, so if any of yall want to provide their strengths and weaknesses, I'll provide ours, and then give my prediction. Feel free to give yalls.
Our strengths:
Our run game. DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart represent the best rushing tandem in the NFL. PERIOD!
Our punt game. Jason Baker is phenomenal, NUFF SAID.
Rushing defense. Pretty damn solid this year
Weaknesses
Passing game. For some reason Joke Delhomme is the starter. Matt Moore is clearly the better of the two quarterbacks and the fact that those in charge dont see it will eventually cost them their job. Hopefully Joke breaks a rib Thursday
Coaching. Jeff Davidson is the worst OC ive ever seen, John Fox has too much blind loyalty. Crossman is a sucky special teams coordinator. On a plus, Ron Meeks is proving to be a helluva DC.
OLine. Only reason I say that is Jordan Gross broke his ankle on Sunday and is out for the season.
Secondary. Yes, statisically were one of the best, but dont buy into that. We typically win TOP and teams dont pass that much against us. Then again, Sherrod Martin is a helluva rookie safety.
When all is said and done, my prediction:
Panthers 46 Dolphins 3

Ok, well in that case, we’ll stack the box and let Jake Delhomme beat us behind that healthy O-line of yours. Oh wait, that won’t happen. Ever. We will stop your rushing attack and we will pound the rock even if Ronnie Brown is on the sidelines. Chad Henne will play flawlessly and throw 220, 2 TD’s and no picks. 34-20 Fins.

the day joke delhomme puts up 46 will be the day he starts playing madden. more than likely 24 20 us if were going to win. every game davidson decides to abandon the run in the second half after it works flawlessly in the first. lets hope shit changes this time around. btw is it just me or is it really s tupid having hte browns on mnf?

i wouldnt be so sure.
Deangelo is a beast i’ll give you that. But Ronnie and Ricky have been good for so long and still get it done. In terms of strictly the 2 best RB’s i’d give you the edge with Williams and Stewart. In terms of everything factoring in with the wildcat I’d say that our boys can do alot more and me better PLAYERS.

we good against the Run and yes the dolphins do own the best 2 best Rb tandems in the league they just seem to get it done. we also seem to have the best 3rd best RB to (Lex Hilliard).

How about Dan Henning and Ted Ginn for Steve Smith and John Fox (as defensive coordinator for us)?
I think I speak for Panthers fans when I say we would love to have our OC back, and if you want to offer Henning back to us, we will surely be willing to offer up Jeff Davidson as a sacrificial lamb.

I don't like this match up at all.
Away, in the cold against a good team that started off the season badly but has given two tough games to two excellent teams, that beat us by the way. Del Homme is good when not pressured, and since our pass rush against good teams sucks, he’ll have a chance to have a field day against 2 rookie corner backs and a mediocre safety tandem. Not to mention they have studs like Steve Smith and two star running backs. Plus, we don’t have Ronnie and can’t expect Henne to win a game on his own, Peyton Manning style just yet. This one is going to be a real tough one.

I think Ricky and Lex have a good chance to establish the ground game early against their mediocre rush defense. If they can do that, we stand a good chance.
Otherwise, we lose and it’s not a fun game to watch.

however, i live in nc. even though it’ll be raining on thursday night, possibly. 66 degrees in nc in november isn’t really cold. still, i pull for carolina when they’re not playing miami, so i have watched them quite a bit this year. they’re alot like us, better than their record shows and no pushover. i think whichever team can get ahead first will have a real advantage over the other.

Brown and Williams: 252 Carries, 1206 Yards,4.8 YPC, 14 TDs,2 Fumbles.
I think I would rather have Brown and Williams. Maybe I’m just a homer either way I don’t think Deangelo and Johnathon are the best…
