DC$!!! (and Brandon Fields)

Who's doubting anymore? Dan Carpenter is the man.... Actually, no, he is a hell of a man. DAN is THE MAN. But anyway, I love the way not only DC$ plays, but also Brandon Fields.

Got som stuff to say about both of 'em.

First off: Dan Carpenter is amazing. He is super clutch. He has only missed one FG all season, and I beleive it was a 50-some yarder, which had the distance, just not straight enough. (not including blocked FGs). But he is a FG machine. he doesn't have the strongst leg in the world by any means, but its strong enough to put one in from 55 yds away, which is plenty far. And not only that, he is SUCH a reliable kicker. I feel bad for teams like the Falcons. They have kickers like jason Elam, that guy has missed like 5 FGs this season! I love how when the Dolphins can't make it happen, we can fall back on the OTHER DAN MAN (nickname potential?), for 3 pts.

And now for Fields: Last season, I didn't know who our punter was, didn't really pay attention to him, but began to realize how erratic he was. He had a game that his first punt boomed 63 yds, and the next was shanked a whopping 13 yds. he had multiple games with shanked punts followed by bombs. But this year, boy has he turned it around! Hehad his first "bad" kick of the season on Sunday. It came off the side of his foot and went OB like 35 yds. away. But its the only time he has done it. I love how he punts, he is finally consistent, and man, he had a ROCKET attatched to that leg.

So, in conclusion. ONE thing we won't have to look for in any draft for many years to come (hopefully), is our kicking and punting unit.
