ricky is older and isnt an every-down-back anymore
we should hav about a 50-50 run vs pass ratio, and BLITZ
the reason we blitz is because thay dont have a very good pass offense, but a very good run offense (DeAngelou Williams), so blitz, we can afford an inaccurate jake delhome pass to a vontae davis covered steve smith
GET HENNE MORE COMfterable
HES BEEN PROVING HIMSELF
HE HAS ALITTLE PAYTON IN HIM
I think that's a bit of a reach
Let him make it through one season before you start saying you see Peyton in him.

panthers fan here
if you don’t blitz early and often, d-will and j-stew will kill in TOP and win through slow, agonizing, and repeated 1st downs… u also probably would be well making us go to our OC… jake delhomme may not be the best qb, but he runs the 2 min drill very well
We're going to have to really TACKLE WELL (remember the exhibition game!)
I say put Quentin Moses instead of Matt Roth (INACTIVE), Roth used to be great against the run, but I don’t think he’s back to 100% yet. Moses can do just as well as a 75% Roth and give more pass rush.
I say put Smiley on IR and call up Tristan Davis (4.38 40) and use Davis and Sheets as dual Wildcat backs with Henne in the pistol formation and Ricky as the deep Tailback.
I also would DEACTIVATE Ginn and Fasano and use Kory Sperry (6-5 238 4.7 40) and/or Patrick Turner (6-5 223 4.59 40) out wide with Sheets or Bess (or Pat White) or Tristan Davis in the slots.
FORMATION (double slot Spread with dual Wildcats):

Forgot to mention: I would use Tristan Davis on Punt Returns
Kory Sheets and Tristan Davis on Kickoff returns.
I guarantee you they get more than 2 yards on a KO return.

Comparing Tristan Davis, Kory Sheets, and Felix Jones
Looks like Tristan Davis is basically a straight-line fast guy. His 20 shuttle and 3 cone times are worse than Felix Jones and Kory Sheets.
But at least he could block and stretch the defense and threaten the edge as a Wildcat back.
I wouldn’t have him running intricate routes, just basically running fly patterns to stretch the defense and allow underneath catches to the recievers wide OR short hitches or flairs to try to break a tackle and run after the catch, OR wildcat motion and take the handoff.

Comparing Kory Sperry and Patrick Turner
Looks like he’s quicker than Turner and that’s probably why he runs better routes.
I would like to see Kory Sperry in a David Martin role on the outside split wide…
