2010 Receiving prospects
With the overwhelming concerns with the dolphins receiving core i decided to research some receivers who would be a free agent in 2010. The number one receiver in my opinion that would fit well in our system and would allow the offense to open dramatically would be vincent jackson. He is a tall reciever with very good speed and the best thing is that he can catch the ball. He is a deep threat and Henne can put his cannon of a arm into good use with a receiver like Jackson. Jackson is also a Parcells type of guy. He is not flashy, low-key, works hard, and can play football. He would be able to also help out the running game because now defenses would now have to account the fact that Jackson is a deep threat and would not stack the box to stop the run. Also Jackson would open up the intermediate routes for Bess and Camarillo to work. I think that Jackson would be a great fit for our team. Only 27 and is peaking at the right team. He makes Rivers look great, so i expect he could do the same for Henne. Another option would also be Miles Austin. i dont know if he could be the Number One guy but he could also if in the dolphin system. he was signed to the Cowboys while Parcells was the coach, so i would assume Parcells know what kind of player and work ethics Austiin has. I dont think drafting a receiver would necessarily be the answer to our immediate concerns with the receivers. The learning curve with a rookie and a young vet are extremely different, especially with a receiver has a good work ethic and can pick up things quicker.

he sucks?
he’s 6th in the NL in receiving yards, with 730. He has 7 touchdowns and averages 17 yards per catch.
Yeah – he’s terrible.

i don't think any will make it to free agency
Miles Austin definitely will not. The other two are iffy at best to make it to free agency.

Marshall may act dumb with the recent collapse of the Broncos
At this stage in the year, he’s looking like the most probable to sneak outta town.

Bender: Who wants dolphin? Leela: Dolphin? But dolphins are intelligent. Bender: Not this one. He blew all his money on instant lottery tickets.

Miles Austin ain't leaving Dallas
I’m pretty sure Jerry Jones will sell his left nut to keep him.
As for the other two, it’s an outside shot but both are proven receivers who will require atleast a 1st round pick to give up.
Laces out!

im tired of young wrs, besides, if we get someone older, they will help DEVELOP the receivers that we already have

Tedd Ginn isn’t a #1 WR, but it has worked for my team.

Trade Porter and #1 Draft Pick For Boldin
BAm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Enough with the Bullshit. We all know that this is one Key player away from being a top contender. A #1 WR. Let me explain what this would do for us.
1. Chad Henne’s developement to an elite QB would excel.
2. Bess would become a good #2 like a Jericho Cotchery.
3.Greg would be an excellent slot, Like a Anthony Gonzalez.
4. Defences would have to respect the pass.
Now think about it for a second……………………………..
Defences would respect the pass. hmmmmmmmmmm
I hear the R & R express roaring down the Field.
Add the Wildcat man Miami is looking mighty good.
Lets not go through the development process next year. Lets just use this year to see if Patrick Turner has anything and continue to build that TE position as well.

but to answer your question
I would choose Brandon Marshall. Hes big, fast and physical, young 25 yrs old, and he can catch the dam ball.

Vincent Jackson
had 1 catch for 10 yards this sunday & his team scored 31 points. Just trust me on this one, hes going to fall off the map very soon.
Marshall and Boldin are both studs. Also wouldn’t mind getting a big guy in the draft. Ted Ginn needs to go either way, can’t stand him.
