I think this guarantees that he won't play at Carolina

Think about it. The last thing they want Fox thinking is that the Wildcat isn’t an issue. At least in practice they would need to still prepare.

If he looked good I doubt he would have said anything. In that case by not saying anything you’d hope for Fox to assume he isn’t okay when he is and not prepare for the Wildcat.

By saying you look good you’re saying prepare for the Wildcat which from their standpoint should mean we’re going conventional.

I thought the players were barred from talking about injuries which further shows they’re sending false messages.

I hope this isn’t the case. Maybe they’re pulling the double reversie meaning he says he’s good, they assume he’s lying and he’s not. Its terrible when honestly becomes a strategy.
