Dolphins vs Bucs: Prediction Time
As much as we all disagreed with none of the "experts" from my random sampling of "expert picks" taking the Dolphins last week, they were all indeed correct. So let's see who they are taking this week:
| Chris Mortensen - Mia | Adam Schefter - Mia | Tom Jackson - Mia |
| Mike Ditka - Mia | Cris Carter - Mia | Peter King - Mia |
| PFT - Mia | Jason Cole - Mia | Michael Silver - Mia |
| Pete Prisco - Mia | Harmon Forecast - Mia | Clark Judge - Mia |
Well it's a clean sweep for the Dolphins this week - the exact opposite of last week. But I always feel a little uneasy when the Dolphins are expected to win a game easily. With that said, Tony Sparano is the guy who must prevent the dreaded "let-down" take place following a string of many emotionally charged games against good teams. If this team comes out flat on Sunday, that's on the head coach. I'll admit, however, that I'm confident Sparano will have this team ready to go.
Random fact: despite an 11-5 record last season, this is the first game in 2009 that the Dolphins are actually favored to win. It took 10 weeks for the defending AFC East champions to not be an underdog. Wow. Now that is a tough schedule.
As for the game this week, I'm quietly confident that the Dolphins will win. I think that they will get back to the basics and pound the football right into the teeth of the 30th ranked rush defense. Tampa's corners are good, too, so let's not ask Chad Henne to win the game with his arm. This is a classic "pound the rock" kind of game.
I think the Dolphins will win, somewhere in the neighborhood of 24-10.
My Week 10 Locks
Broncos -3.5 over Redskins - I've long been a believer that the Broncos really aren't that good. But the Redskins stink and without Clinton Portis, I don't see how they move the ball at all on Denver.
Titans -6.5 over Bills - The Titans have begun righting the ship and I expect Tennessee to run wild against Buffalo's rush defense.
Colts - 2.5 over Patriots - In the game of the week, I expect Peyton Manning to have a big day through the air against New England's average (at best) corners.
Last Week: 1-3
Season: 14-14

Phins big
33-15
I feel a lil frustration being let out on this college quality team…rookie QB did his thing last week…but i think this week he sees things he has never seen before.
If this one was in Tampa….id have that nervousness….but at home the crowd will let the Phins know we need this.

I think if we win, which we should, it’ll be a blow out.
I see us scoring higher than 25 points and holding them to less than 15.
Freeman is in for a rude awakening. hopefully we minimize the impact of Winslow, their CBs, and their STs
as for some picks?
Colts over Patriots
Jaguars over Jets
Bengals over Steelers
Do our recievers exist? Ginn crawls out the hole, Bess is stumbling but hope is not lost.
Gibril i like you and imma let you finish the season but, Ed Reed is the best safety of all time, of all time!!

Not trying to be greedy, but I want to win big
This is a team that we should beat. I want this game to be an easy win with a multiple TD lead. I’ll be at the game too. You can look for
me in the crowd. I’ll be in the green jersey with a hat

How will that be any different than Brady going crazy on Indy's worse than average corners
slash that secondary… NE has the better WR’s and offensive line
I probably know Judo! How many of you can make the same boast?

After last week's tough loss in NE...
I think we bounce back nicely with as I said earlier, a comfortable win (or as much as any win can be comfortable in the NFL!!!).
Let’s say dolphins 27, bucs 14, with maybe a garbage time td/fg making the game look closer than it was.

Teams that don't have many wins worry me...
The Bucs won last week and are in such high spirits that they may be tough to beat.
Going to my bro’s wedding so have fun without me today lol

I suppose you might consider the Jags an upset pick, but they have identical records.

My money's on the Colts. And I'm really beginning to think that the Titans are going to start winning again. They'll finish 6-10 or 7-9.
As for our game, 35-10 Dolphins win.
- Pat White throws his first career TD.
- Ronnie and Ricky combine for 250 yards and 3 rushing TD’s. Ronnie also catches one for a TD.
- Sean Smith and Vontae both get picks. Chris Clemons joins the fun with a forced fumble on Kellen “Im a Soldier!” Winslow.
- Wake, Taylor, and Porter each have a sack.
- Henne throws a TD to…. Patrick Turner! Lol

Odd because as soon as they put in Vince Young at QB in Tenn...
Chris Johnson has gone nuts running the ball and you know that’s made things easier on VY. no surprise they are 2-0 since.

Just as it has always been with me...
I’d rather be an underdog… and i’ve never liked the outcome when we’re suppose to win across the board… bad jew jew for the dolp[hins haha, but god i hope its a blow out and not like last year “for sure” wins… Seemed we liked to downplay teams last year… haven’t had that oppurtunity this year, considering we’re gonna have a game 4 days later…

The Broncos - Redskins games is gonna be a mess...
… zero running game from the Skins and lots of throws from the Broncs will make a landslide win for Denver… 42-10
The Bills will get a high dose of Titan’s TE, Bo, Vince Youngs’ favorite target for another good win… 30-21
Peyton Manning’s passing will be just enough to down the over-rated Patriots for a 27-23 win.
The Dolphins will run and pass in their most balanced attack so far this year. The Bucs will not stop the Wildcat for three touchdowns, and Henne’s drives will add three more scores… Dolphins all over the Bucs… 34-13
Bring on the weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You know whats pissing me off?
I’ll tell you….ppl saying the Colts vs the Pats is the greatest rivalry in the NFL right now….and in a long time.
Shenanigans.
Its like 4-5 years of a few meeting in important spots…and a few good games. GTFO…thats not a rivalry…you aint even in the same divison.
Last time i checked Pitt won the last Super Bowl in the AFC.

Here's why it isn't a true rivalary...
the moment Brady and/or Manning retire – it is done, period.
True rivalries last, and the best ones do so regardless of who is on the roster and what the records of the teams are.
