The Doghouse: What a win

Wow....what a win. I'd like to congratulate a few players:

Gibril Wilson
Ted Ginn Jr.
Randy Starks
Jason Taylor
Paul Soliai (heck of a game for him)

However, that's not what this post is about. Unfortunatly, it's a post of players who did bad. I've talked with a few of ya and here's your answers.

O-line
They didn't protect Henne well and they couldn't open holes for the R&R express. I don't know where to find sack yards, but I'm sure it's terrible. Henne was sacked 10-20 behind the line of scrimmage. But it's not the OL's fault. If Henne didn't hold onto it so long some of those wouldn't have happened.

Did the R&R express even leave the station? Every time we handed it off we were lucky to get past the line of scrimmage.

Davone Bess
Boy, out of the WR's I wasn't expecting to say his name. He dropped a ball and dropped another on a punt return and was recovered by the Jest. It cost us a TD and almost the game.

Now I won't compare him to Ginn, because Bess usually gets the catch. There's about a 5% he'll drop a pass. I still have hope in him, but after Ginn's performance on ST's, I'd like ot see Ginn return kicks.

Anthony Fasano
He can't catch anymore. He dropped quite a few today. Joey Haynos played better than him. I don't know how he did at blocking, maybe it will save him from this list.

Is there any hope for him? I'm hoping, but I see alot of potential in Sasquatch.

Yeremiah Bell (A6)
I'd like to thank ALPHA for reminding me of Bells one play. He must have been waiting trying to make a play, but the TE was able to get the TD.

Is it me, or do the safeties suck this year?

Chad Henne
He held onto the ball, waaaaaaaaay toooooooooo long. And he keeps trying to make plays by throwing bombs. I play backyard football, and when it's 3rd down, I just go for the short pass to get the first, no bombs, But if, Henne feels comfortable throwing like that it's fine by me, just go short on 3rd downs.

I can't wait to see what he'll do against the Patriots defense next week...

Well, medic and texascowpunk, fought about Vontae Davis. Medic explaines that Vontae made a few bonehead plays, while Tex said he's just a rookie and will make mistakes.

I'm going with you here TEX, he's just a rookie and those bonehead plays will happen. Let's just let him get use to starting and we'll make our judgements then.
