I never understood the reasoning behind trash talking before a game.

Listen you want to win you want to play hard your proud of your team I get that. But buddy the guys on the other team are getting paid too. Their job is to kick your ass so why not save the trash talking for after the game or at least during the game. Yeah we are the better team we should have won blah blah blah. Shut up and nut up. It is going to be a good game regardless the trash talking isn’t needed, but go ahead by all means enjoy the next two days of smack talk but if they don’t back it up on Sunday I expect a whole new list of excuses on how we hoodwinked them with the cheap offense we have or how they just let it slip away. Can a team change its name and not move to a new city. I think they should be called the New York Princess’ . Just my opinion. GO DOLPHINS!

I for one have no problem with his comments. I may not agree with him that his Jets are the better team. But I don't have a problem with what he said.

He is being confident. He’s not making stupid comments like Shaun Ellis or Rex Ryan (Or Channing Crowder even though he’s on our team. Lol). But that’s the most professional comments I’ve seen from a Jets personal thus far. No problem with what he said. He’s just answering a question…..

Even with Jenkins and Washington out for the season, I wasn’t happy they got hurt. I was glad that it makes the game easier for the Phins, but I’m not happy that the guys got hurt. That is just low class.

Seeing Lou Polite blast Bart Scott out of his sneakers was my favorite moment of 2009 so far. Bart Scott — I want you to meet… the enforcer! There’ll be plenty more of that this Sunday.

And it seems like Jake Long gets even nastier when we play NYJ. Some of his blocks during the MNF game were downright grisly. Jake will probably go all “Last Boy Scout” on Calvin Pace for calling his QB a clown.

To sum all of this up, watching the Dolphins manhandle the Jets in the NY/NJ Ghettolands would make me forget all about last week. Let’s do it.
