Although Ted GInn is been a major dissapointment, for the first time in his Pro carrer he has a QB that could allow for him to run deep routes. All his time as a Dolphins they have been trying to making him a short/medium route runner. Let's face it he was not good at it from the beginning.
Now! He has to build that timing and cofidence that Henne will look for him on every down and he needs to be ready. His been use as decoy all this time and when the Dolphins had no other choice they went to him. You could see that their was lots of miscommunication between Ginn and Henne. Ginn wanted the ball ahead on almost all passes thrown to him or He was not expecting the ball to come his way.
Against the Saint he was double cover.They should have looked more for Camarillo, like New England uses Welker. Henne to Camarillo 60% and bang deep to Ginn on a pump fake( force the safeties to play shallow). The offense still on adjustment mode. Henne is a different beast. Henning went from driving a Benz(Pennington) to a Lambogini Diablo(Henne)!!!!!
I believe Ginn will have a good opportunity to bounce back. There still lots of football left (10 games left) and there
is no one else on the Dolphins that has his speed. Everybody knows that is not easy for a rookie to enter the league and be expected to save a team, his confident is shook but nothing will help him better than making a couple of plays agaist the Jets.....!!
Besides, Is the defensive that lost the game against the Saints. 2 quaterback sneaks,a wide open look to Colston, Superman diving TD by Bush al on the red zone. You take away a couple of TDs.The wide open look to Colston, the second QB sneak and we would had won the game!! Not to mentioned that the defense could not tackle Bell evn if their lives depended on it!!!!!! Itwas a good test against a really good football team and we kicked their ass in the 1st half, we just forgot to show up in the 2nd half.... :-)
Jets and New Englad here we go!!! Go Dolphins...

Ginns a bust
After 3 years of dropped passes and bad route running I’m going out on a limb and saying it. Screw the deep bomb. He can’t catch 4 yard passes that hit him in the chest. I’ve seen this his entire career.

until i read somewhere this morning that the most dissapointing part to Sporano about Ginn is that his route running on the deep passes are terrible….i’ll look for that link…

Well I have to dissagree with Sparano then. Hes a great coach and probably has forgotten
more about football than any of us know but how can all those balls hitting him square in the chest only to see him drop them not bother the shit out of him.

I don't think he is a #1WR that has been proven but if you stablished someone else as your go to guy...
It will make the deep passes easier. It seems we either run, throw lots of screen passes, and throws bombs. Our passing game does not exist. We basically pass on 3rd and long for the most part.

For those who said they would like for Sparano to get after people when they make mistakes:

Ginn sucks. You can run as fast as a bullet but if you cannot catch you will never be a wr in the NFL.
Ever see the movie “the replacements” ? If not go get it and watch it. You will see Ted Ginn in that movie 100% to a T copy of Ginn. Plus its funny. Go watch it.

not that Tedd Ginn is T.O by any means!! Just pointing out that dropping passes is no a big deal as much as Ginn issues with route running… wich is fixable if you simplify the game for him

Catching passes is not a big deal and not important to a WR in the NFL?
Um.. isnt catching passes their job in the NFL? Sure I can give you is a guy is a speedster and catches 70% of the balls thrown at him he may be worth something.. but gin is catching like 35% of he balls thrown at him and has a YAC rating of 0.9 yards a catch. Yes UNDER 1 yard per catch!

I commend your balls for saying that on here,
and also your optimism. I was optimistic about Ginn up until Sunday, now I’m cautiously pessimistic because I know there is a chance he will shine when the pressure is taken off of him by Hartline.

After Sunday what i saw was a team that collapse under pressure!!
The signs of a young Football team.Their heads were down, made a bunch of mistakes. Camirillo foward past..WTF. Ricky’s dropped pass.., Fasano dropped pass along with Ginns. It seems the only that wanted to win the game was Henne and Camarillo. What i saw, was a team thats is almost there(Dolphins) vs a team thats already there(Saints).

Teddy Bear Ginn, the speedster is averaging LESS THAN 1 YARD AFTER CATCH this year.
This is almost impossible to do as a Wide Receiver!. FYI Bess 5 YAC, Facsano 3.2 YAC, Ricky 10 YAC, Hartline 9 YAC. Wes Welker 6.2 YAC, Antoin Boldin 5 YAC.
I wasn’t able to locate another reciever with less than 3 YAC. Jerrico Cotchery 6YAC Dustin Keller 5 YAC

Anybody know if the Marlins need a pinch runner?
