PFT: Ginn to see reduced playing time!
This will make tons of you guys happy too!!!! This is from profootballtalk.com, they have some of the most up to date NFL info around (not selling, just saying)...
Here is what they said....
Ted Ginn heads back to the Tuna's doghouse Posted by Mike Florio on October 26, 2009 8:06 PM ET
Two weeks ago tonight, Dolphins receiver Ted Ginn made an impressive catch on a long touchdown that helped deliver a win over the Jets.
On Sunday, however, Ginn was back to eating pre-game popcorn, with multiple key drops in the 46-34 loss to the Saints.
Per ESPN's Chris Mortensen (who likely still has a pipeline to his former ESPN colleague, Bill Parcells), Ginn will see reduced playing time going forward.
Mort also said that, if the trade deadline were tomorrow instead of last Tuesday, the Dolphins would be dialing up the Ravens and offering Ginn to the team whose offensive coordinator, Cam Cameron, drafted Ginn in 2007 with the ninth overall pick.
So why didn't the Dolphins do it last week? In hindsight, it would have been a great time to sell high, with Ginn looking great against the Jets.
As a result, Miami missed an opportunity, and now they're stuck with Ginn through the balance of the season.
Unless they eventually decide to cut him.

Ginn made his one play for the year.
If I remember correctly, Teddy Bear was bench warming a lot of the last 2 games and we WON! He made his one long TD catch for the year so he might as well sit on the bench where he belongs. Lets face it. He is not, was not and probably never will be a number 1 WR. Keep him for kick offs and may be an occasional decoy play, but he is not a starting WR. It is too bad we did not go for Braylen Edwards, because he looked better during his first game on Monday night than Teddy Bear has looked in 3 yrs.
Now if we can get rid of Gibril Wilson, we can have a chance this year as they have cost us at least 2 losses so far.

That may be true. We need him to show something to raise his value. Cam may want
him in Balt. but all he can do is put in the request. He certianly does not have that kind of power.

There are times in my life wheere I have self-doubt, but when this happens, I simply ask myself: What would Don Draper do? So I bone a random whore.

I agree. Throw Turner out there and see what you get. It cant be worse than what your getting
from Ginn. Some guys look like crap in practice but then play lights out in the game. Hell at this point its worth a shot.

velcro gloves for ginn
is that against regulation?

Well velcro sticks to the other side of the velco so I'd say no, thats not going
to work seeing as footballs are not coated in velcro.

From a personnel stand point
and seeing as to what Ted brings to the table. A decoy with speed mainly, I say put him in the slot to rotate with Bess.Start Hartline and Camarillo. Not sure about Turner. I have to wonder why they have yet to activate Turner. After reading the PFT my confidience is a little more than shaken at the FO decision making thus far. Ultimately this is a business and that may have something to do with it. If so I would be more than hurt knowing money TRANSCENDS this great game. Like any other game where the goal is to JUST WIN.

while i've always been a Ginn apologist
I have to agree … it’s time for Teddy and his good people family too, to take a little vacation…
i’ve made the arguement that teddy needed time to develop and learn to read defenses and make adjustments and that his skill set as a receiver didn’t matchthat of CP or any of the semi pro QB’s Cam kept on the team….
and i’ve always prefaced the support of Ginn on the belief that while he had short coming s he had good hands and did make tough catches … i sign that once he learned the offense he would be a good reciever…. well not that he drops more then the catches it’s a pretty good sign that he has regressed and honestly – hartline is just a better player right now and deserves the PT.
