Where to start…  *sigh* What am I most upset about in this loss? I think I will start there..  I was so high going into the secondquarter.. we were doing really good everything was meshing well and I was thinking that we may just win this game and surprise allot of people out there. Then that feeling hit me.. ALL Dolphin fans know the feeling. Ya know when the game is going good and you can just feel the team about to Explode into a big mess of steaming dog pile. Well it started for me with about 2 minutes left in the firsthalf. The Phins were not looking that hot at this point. The run game was completely gone  and even with the score 24 to 3 in favor of the Dolphins I just didn’t want to go into the locker room without having 34 points on the board. Some people in the live thread were saying things like “3 points will be ok” and “Im just happy were up more then 2 scores at the half!” and I was thinking and saying “we need more then 2 scores up to beat these guys.. I want another 7 before halftime”  Well low and behold Bess coughed up the ball on a pass and after a HORRIBLE call by Sparano calling a TO Brees decided to walk it into the end zone to make the score 24-10 at half time. I just knew that was not good.. then the complete second half we played like crap for the most part. We couldn’t run the ball any more, Henne was getting pressured left and right and as usual we gave up a TON of yards on deep passes. It killed us as usual. We need a better set of players at our safety position.. its that simple.  Although Wilson made a few good plays today.. he screwed up a bunch as usual.  And now to find out Will Allen is out for the rest of the season? Not good at all.  *sigh*  

Ok.. heres some thoughts on the game.. no real order just general thoughts good and bad:

1.       Henne was not horrible today.. was he great? No, however many of the incomplete passes and one of the INT’s he threw were not his fault at all. As usual Ginn failed to put the stick-em on his hands and bobbled a pass that ended up being points for the other team. Henne had at least 5 or 6 passes dropped that were catchable today.. his fault? Nope. Also if you look at the stats Henne was 18 out of 36 for 211 yards 0 TD 2INT Sounds bad? Brees was 22 for 38 for 298 1TD 3INT So take those 2 sets of stats into account and honestly I believe Henne played well. He was only really beat by the 1TD compaired to Brees (in my mind) Not too shabby for a rookie QB on only his 3rd start.

2.       Ted Ginn Jr has to GO NOW.  Stop using him as a receiver unless we are lining up with 4 wide, which I know does not happen often, but face it guys and girls this guy is one of the freaking worse receivers in the NFL today.  Anyone still defending him needs to admit they hate the Dolphins and want us to lose every game.  Anyone else wish we woulda offered Ginn and a first for Bowe or Boldin now?

3.       Fasano needs to step the fuck up and stop dropping key passes as well. We still need him to block and he has made a few good plays, however dropping key passes is getting annoying. Stop hanging out with Ginn Fasano!

4.       Camarillo made a horrible decision trying to “fake” a drop ball out of bounds.. just take the catch.. and hustle your ass back to the line! No more mental errors like this please Camarillo. Your not that stupid and you have proven that. As usual good hands when needed.. keep up that good work.

5.       Bess.. Bess.. Bess.. what happened today? Funny how I was saying I would have offered Bess and a second rounder for Bowe last week and people were all over me. 3 dropped passes today. Sure the first one we got lucky and the refs blew the call (more on that later) but the other 2 were just plain craptastic and reassured me my thoughts on trading him (or Bess) and a 2 nd for Bowe would have been a DEAL for us.. 

6.       Wilson and Crowder stepped up on some plays today in the first quarter that made me happy then they missed a bunch later on. Why cant these guys play more consistently? Cmon.. if your going to talk trash Crowder.. freaking step up and back it up. Yes you are a solid MLB but with that mouth of yours you cant only be a solid player.. you need to be exceptional.

7.       Brees pass deep right intended for D.Henderson INT by T.Culver who ran ob after a 23 yard gain which was almost a TD. BOOOOOYAAAAAAAA!! Great play for those who didn’t see it watch it here. Almost ran back for a pick 6. Impressive.

8.       R.Williams run for 68 yards and a TD was great.  Again watch it here

9.       Brees pass short left intended for L.Moore INT by R.Torbor  Another pick of Brees and another high point for this defense today. G. Wilson got his hand on it if I remember correctly which allowed Torbor to snag it. Watch it here

10.   Heres that horrible INT where Mr Brick Hands (AKA Ted Ginn Jr) misses a catchable pass that is returned for a TD. Now honestly it was not a TD it was a touchback and it was a horrible call on the field and even worse call after the review because they upheld the call on the field. Although before everyone gets pissed at this one call..  do not forget we kept a drive going on an obvious dropped pass by Bess earlier in the game and the refs blew that call as well so they kinda offset each other really..  It sucks that it shoulda been a touch back but ya win some ya lose some right? I see it as the refs made up for their mistake earlier in the game.

11.   This play got me back into believing we had a chance.. D.Brees pass deep middle intended for M.Colston INTERCEPTED yet again! INT by N.Jones at MIA endzone which resulted in a touchback

12.   C.Henne pass short left to B.Hartline which goes for 67 yards really got me hard. However I knew from the day after we signed this kid he would do good here in Miami. He is a hell of a player and with a year or 2 under his belt he is going to be a hell of a receiver for us.

13.   Ricky Williams runs it in for his third TD on the next play if I remember correctly. I <3 you R Williams !

14.   This play by C. Henne was really the only HORRIBLE pass I saw from him all day. Sure there were a few others that were not good.. but this pass reminded me he is still a rookie. Watch it here. In his defense he was under serious pressure and trying hard to make something happen.. and I’m not sure if it was his fault or Camarillo’s. One of them screwed the pooch here. Either or it should have not been thrown. Watch it here.

I am so sick of this team giving up 30+ yard pass plays left and right. I am beyond tired of it.  I am also sick and fucking (yes I swore) tired of Ted Ginn Jr dropping 60% of the balls thrown his way. He is costing us too many plays and he has to go or just be used as a returner. He is not a #1, he is not a #2 and in my book he is not even a #3 wr. The ONLY thing going for him is speed.. and that is not enough to play receiver in the NFL.  It is time to get a new SS and a top ranked WR. If this FO does not address this this off season I am going to go postal.

In the end.. if this morning  I had predicted that we would have put up 34 points and intercepted Brees 3 times and had 3 running TD’s by Williams and over 200 yards by Henne you would have called me nuts. You would have also agreed that if that prediction came true we woulda won this game..  well we did all these things and we lost. Sounds like the game against the Colts doesn’t it?
