Why Tedd Ginn?

When your team is up 24-3 and you end up losing you have to be upset, but you have to be able to look at the loss as a learning experience. What did we learn from this - One and only....Tedd Ginn Jr. has to go. He was terrible, he dropped big balls, he caused a pick 6 and he just isn't a good professional football player. I feel bad for the rest of the dolphns at this point.

There were too many plays that HE was the problem and not enough where he was the answer. I've been a phin fan for 18 years and there havn't been many games where it's been obvious who has been the problem - this is one. I love the fins but i can't invest this much hope into one team -- he has to go. I know i'm not alone.

He is not the go to guy. Just like he was in college. Hit someone hard and they quit. This isn’t Madden or what ever.

Bess dropped 3 balls today and fumbled one that led to a TD

The fumble was bad. One of the drops I dont think was his fault.

It wasn't even a fumble though. His knee was clearly down.

And he didn’t catch the ball over mid-field like the refs said. That really was some of the worst officiating I have ever seen, on both sides.

Totalling it up, 7 bogus Miami points, 21 bogus Saints points.

Not a single one of those refs should ever officiate again. But I have no doubt that Brees would have overcome if necessary.

Really??

Wow i hear so much hating on here about Ginn, and rightfully so, but where is the hating on Fasano who dropped a crucial pass that would have given Miami a first down on our last drive, and what about hating on Henning, who suddenly forgot how to play call while we were stuffing it down there throats? What about the conservative defensive playcalling after we sacked Brees four times in the first half.

There is plenty of blame to go around, including Ginn, but can we please stop alwas making him the scapegoat?

The defense crumbled, that was Ginn’s fault. The playcalling on both sides of the ball sucked, that was Ginn’s fault. He does deserve a lot of the blame, but he is not the sole reason we lost. Henne didn’t look that great either from what i saw.

Of course Tom Brady has to marry someone with Giz in her name. How fitting???

Agree and Disagree

I agree that the playcalling in the second half stunk and that the defense was other than perfect. But I think the D did alright considering the offensive monster that is New Orleans. Our offense let us down because they didn’t control the time of possession in the second half and that goes in large part to Ginn. He doesn’t scare defenses as a threat. That pick six was completely his fault. It was a good pass and the defender wasn’t even looking at the ball. He also hide wide open drops. He has more drops that completions, now that’s sad. If we had a play-making receiver the game would have been different. Henne looked alright, the first pick was Ginn’s fault the second bc of pressure and there were a lot of dropped passes. The fins were a different team in the second half.

Difference between Fasano and Ginn

I can understand what you are saying about Fasano, and true enough he has not acted like the TE we had last year. But he has made more big plays in his 2 years with the organization then Ginn has his whole tenure.

my case against ginn is growing. I agree with finz54 about our play calling. but playcalling aside, ginn dropped clutch passes….again. THE GUY SUCKS.

deep hatred for osu and cam cameron

i am willing to say it right now, that ted ginn jr might be one of the most overrated players ever drafted. this doesn’t include guys that have been drafted number one and been busts, because most pundits at least expected them to be drafted first overall…but when you draft a decent college wr 9 overall when he was projected late first, early second round, what should one expect…the guy has never been great, and will never be good…personally i think his dropping the ball stems from his insane father’s hatred and his personal deep hatred for michigan and an un-willingness to catch from a michigan player…but maybe thats just me
