Welcome back Roth

During OTA's and camp...Matt Roth had a mysterious injury. He said he was sick but it turned out to be a groin injury. So, the Trifecta decided to put him on the PUP list....meaning he'd be out for 6 weeks.

Well guess what!? Those weeks are up and Roth will be back at practice tomorrow. I'm glad he wasn't traded...like most of you wanted.

He started out as a DE but Sparano thought he would make a great OLB. And Roth lived up to my expectations.

If he were a rookie...he would have won Rookie of the Year with these stat.

53 tackles / 5 sacks / 4 PDef(s) / 2 FF

I'm glad he's back and can't wait to see him play again.

WELCOME BACK ROTH!!!!!!!

He has to be inactive for 6 games.

no - it's six weeks, not six games

he’s going to be activated off PUP tomorrow so that he can practice.

But he’ll probably be a gameday inactive vs the Saints

Roth is a run stopping OLB, and we are really good at that

so unless he somehow became a beast at rushing the passer not really an improvment over our current starters. he also isn’t great in coverage. with that said, i love roth because ofthe way he plays. he never ever gives up on a play and play with all his heart.
