Just wanted to say....
that i wanted the Dolphins to trade for Bowe, but I also did not want to break the bank for him. I believe that we are far from a finished product, and that waiting to get some talented wide receiver in the draft may take time, and time is not what we have on our side right now. Ronnie is a couple years away from 30.. Peezy is getting very old.. and yeremiah bell and will allen are not getting any younger either. So this leads to my terminology.. it normally takes receivers multiple years to finally "get" it. Multiple years is not what we have. We need a guy that is proven, and Bowe is that guy. We would not have to give him a huge contract, and he is getting paid the minimum amount right now. I would not trade a 1st for him, but I would trade a 2nd, a 6th, and Ted Ginn for Bowe and a 6th. This trade seems reasonable, and to stand pat at the deadline says to me that the Dolphins are comfortable where they are at right now. This is fine with me, because it spells that the Trifecta is comfortable with the guys that they have, but at the same time, you have to wonder about who we could have gotten to help us out this week against the Saints high powered team.
I understand that they are keeping the future in mind, and that will pay off in the long run, but with some of our star players time running out, they might not be around to help out with the "future".

I am bummed about Bowe for sure, but honestly..
Everyone is going to be happy when we have all our draft picks in April. Hell, maybe we’ll go get someone like Dez Bryant or Arrelious Benn.
Ronnie won’t be 28 until December, and he doesn’t have very much mileage on his legs, thanks to the platooning he did at Auburn and with the Dolphins, so I am not worried about him running out of gas anytime soon.
As for Porter, I don’t think losing him is going to be any kind of big deal because we need to get Cameron Wake into the lineup. We can also look for another outside/edge rush linebacker like Jerry Hughes from TCU in this draft.
We’re one player away from being a complete offense, but we’re a few players away from being a complete defense, so I think it’s a good thing we’ve still go all of our picks.

I agree. Building through the draft is the only way to go. Look at the Deadskins!

Whats the propellers record with Edwards?
I will see the Dolphins win a SUPER BOWL before i die(22 years and counting)
Im not an Edwards fan but thats a poor argument. He certianly did his part during the game
and then some. Now from here on out he could suck for all we know.

The best thing we can do as fans
Is put your faith in the hand of the Trifecta. They know what they are doing. They havent does us wrong yet.
Beleive me as much as I wanted to get Bowe or a number 1 wideout
one guy is not going to get us to the super bowl we still have other needs to address I would have rather traded a player for a nice draft pick but anyway I would love to get a big playmaker at saftey or a great pass rushing lb with our first pick then I hope this guy is around in the second round because I think he will be one hell of a player Golden Tate

Multiple years aren't what we have?
We are a rebuilding franchise. Taylor? Bell? Porter? Will Allen? Wow, those guys have been producing on the field the exact amount of plays I have, none.
This team is young as hell and is far away from being a contender.
So “multiple years is not what we have” cmon now.
Just look at this:
QB- 2nd year player
LT- 2nd year player
RG- 2nd year player
SWR- 2nd year player
RDE- 2nd year player
RLE- 2nd year player
CB1- Rookie
CB2- Rookie
S- Rookie
K- 2nd year
So … Its pretty clear that we are a rebuilding franchise and not only are a good season or two away from being super bowl contenders, but that we have a young and deep roster for many years to come.
