Here is the history of Perfect Seasons in the NFL...(as taken from the outstanding historical work entitled "Historical Perspective V - Nineteen seventy-perfect" by amazing author whose name escapes me right now)
The Miami Dolphins had completed the only perfect season in NFL history – a feat that has yet to be repeated. The closest teams were the 1934 and 1942 Chicago Bears, both of whom lost the Championship game to the Giants and Redskins respectively, and the 2007 New England Patriots, who were embarrassed by the New York Giants in Super Bowl XLII, one of the biggest upsets in NFL history. The only other professional football team with a perfect regular and post-season record was the 1948 Cleveland Browns, who went undefeated in the All-American Football Conference – which folded the next year and, even though the Browns entered the NFL, the NFL did not incorporate AAFC records.

BTW...
The 1926 Bears went 12-1-3, losing their last game of the season.
The 1934 Bears went 13-0…then lost the NFL Championship game to the Giants, so no perfect season for them.
The Packers of 1929 did go 12-0-1, but a tie isn’t a win, so you can’t be perfect.
The 1967 Colts finished with a record of 11-1-2, losing their last game of the season, so again, not undefeated.
And of course the Patriots of 2007 went 18-1, losing the Super Bowl.
But, none of them have only 0s in the loss and tie columns, meaning Miami still has all rights to teh Undefeated and Perfect Season titles.

Undfeated for the season (that ends with the superbowl or prev. championshp game)
or undefeated for the regular season? Seeing as you did not specify I would have assumed the same thing that everyone else did, that you meant for the entire season.
