Going to the Jets game!

My (awesome, older) brother scored two tickets from a season ticket-holder who is in an in-law of his. I'm flying in from the Midwest early in the morning, going to the game, then flying back out in the evening. I wish I had the guts of Ohio, but I think the big bro and I are going to dress down and keep our reactions contained. I've been to too many Phins/Jets games in Miami where I'm looking at the Jets fans and wondering why all those women have mustaches weeping for the future of our country and modern civilization in general. Also, we're a bit too old to be mixing it up with the bridge and tunnel troglodytes in their puke-stained Sanchez jerseys.

im going to the carolina game and will be sporting dolphins gear

but panthers fans are not like jet fans where u get beer thrown on you and/or stabbed for wearing a fins jersey.

going to a jets game in ny wearing dolphins gear is suicide by homicide

Anyone else remember that commercial?

A bar in New York. The Television announces the Jets are getting mauled by the Dolphins. Everyone is wearing green and look like someone’s killed their firstborn. All the fans are working class New Yorkers. As the camera pans over, a lone Dolphins jumps up and shouts happily at the television, only to realize that the entire bar is staring at him.

Games in 2009

Live in Denver, moving to Dallas in December. I have been to the season opener in Atlanta and sat on row 4, 47 yard line behind the Dolphins’ bench. Great seats, bad game. Then a week later the wife and I sat in our season ticket seats, row 15, 15 yard line visitor’s sideline at Landshark. Again a bummer game, but very entertaining. Tomorrow morning the wife and I will head down to Miami again along with two of our three daughters for the Saints game. The wife and I will sit in our season ticket seats, while my two daughters have row 1 upper deck, endzone, behind the goalposts.
