There's alot of talk going around Baltimore today that the Ravens may trade for a receiver. The name that keeps coming up is Dwayne Bowe. Also, it seems that the asking price would be a 2nd round pick. I started to think about this and we'll probably have a higher 2nd round pick to give the Chiefs and Scott Pioli is Bill Parcells' son-in-law. Starting to wonder if this rumor is true, would we get involved?

There is a reason you are not "seeing what turner can do"
He obviously is not as good as the WR’s we have listed on game day.. and if you cannot beat out the ones we have then you are really not worth much. Now do not get me wrong.. I believe Cam and Bess are solid receivers and I believe that Hartline will be a good solid receiver but none of them are elite players (yet) and if you cannot beat out a wr set that are all average then you are obviously not worth putting on the field. If the powers that be thought Turner was or could be better then what we have they would have him on the field. Its that simple.
Henne is now our leader. Lets see what the guy can do !

can't help to be too sure. cobbs tore his acl, if we had gone for london over lex we'd be up the creek without a paddle
what if something happens to our LBs? Roth is a proven, solid run stuffer, he never runs out of gas, i just don’t see how losing him would benefit us unless we got a total beast of a player, which I don’t consider Bowe.

As far as Nuns, I did attend private Christian School but we were Methodist. While I have heard it described as watered down Catholic there were no Nuns.

Bowe is well worth a 2nd round pick but certainly not a first

I say go for Bowe
I dont know why most people would be so afraid to give up our 1st round pick for a proven #1 WR. Bowe is in his 3rd season which is supposed to be the breakout year for recievers. In his first 2 seasons he has 156 catches 2017 yards and 12 TD’s and this is all while playing with the Chiefs. IMO he would be a great compliment to Ted Ginn. Yeah we could go out and draft a WR with our 1st round pick but there is no guarentee that he will ever become a #1 WR.
I say trade our 1st and Greg Camarillo for Bowe.

i've watched parts of some KC games, the guy gets thrown the ball
almost every damn pass play but can’t catch it unless no ones within 5 yds of him, and then it’s not a sure thing. think ginn’s fear in a guy thats 220.

If you are going to give up a 1st round pick then you better know the guy can play. But agree too, I don’t get why trading 1st round picks is so huge if you are getting a young elite player without the risk of missing on the pick like in the draft.

Well i cant say that i have seen many Chiefs games but...
When you are the main WR target on the team you would expect that you would be double covered constantly. Bowe has put up numbers regardless of being the main focal point for defenses. I dont know where you see that fear in Bowe but maybe I just havent seen it.
Im not a big numbers guy or anything but Bowe was targeted 157 times last year and recorded 86 receptions which is good for a 55% completion rate. That ranks him probably around the middle of the pack for top receivers. So he could def use some improvement there but maybe a better QB would help that too. Just because he was targeted doesnt mean he had a chance to catch the ball.
In the video he looks to be very physical but it is a highlight vid so who knows. But i dont see Ginn making these catches so i wouldnt compare them.

Doesnt really matter I highly doubt that we make a deal for Bowe or even attempt to. Just stating what I think and I think he is worth it.
