Sorry about the delay on the WW this week, I just awoke from my Dolphin-themed coma.

Let me recede, my luck last weekend ranks among tops for me, EVER. It started by watching my Yankees continue their magical walkoffs; I had a tingling sensation that something special was going down. When the stinking Red Sox got swept, I was ready for a taste of things to come.

Football started and we all were witnesses to Buffalo continuing to plummet, this time giving the Browns win #1 in a good old fashioned shootout... More like a shootout between 2 elderly seniors with squirt guns.

Watching former UCF Alum Matt Prater put a dagger in the Pats' heart in Denver was sweet as candy.

Even my fantasy teams decided to show up, in the Phinsider Elite League I let Matt Ryan and Roddy White do all the work for me.

But it all came down to Monday Night, which will continue to be one of the most spectacular games I have ever witnessed. All I remember was Ronnie crossing the plane, I nearly blacked out. Watch it again, you know you want to...

Right now I'm walking on water; not even whining Jets fans can phase me. I have entered a temporary zen-like state. Kind of like your first kiss, or this youtube video.  I mean honestly, during Rex's press conference he was so somber (and such a little biatch), kind of like he just found out that the Dunkin' Donuts across the street had closed down. As I listened to every word he said all I could do is laugh. I felt like this baby. Speaking of babies, I happened to find Rex Ryan's baby video. Is there any Rivalry like the Jets/Dolphins in football?

So the main topic of this week is how arrogant and D-baggish (yes i made that word up, its my damn editorial) the Jets are, all led by the King Fatty and the best quarterback in New York since Joe Namath (lol). Well for all the fans who are just noticing this after we beat them down at home, uh hello? This isn't news to me, New York has always maintained a constant swagger of douchebaggery; possibly since the franchise realized they would never be able to repeat an undefeated season, they have tried in every way to dethrone the dolphins in any way possible. They attempted last year, but as we all know, failed miserably. Listen, New York, I know you're upset, but no matter how many fake punts you attempt you still won't be #1, sorry...

Sadly, it's true.

So anyways I needed to figure out where all the hate has come from. Why was the rivalry so heated? Maybe, I was onto something. You see, there are fans of football and THEN there are Jet fans. Drunk, stumbling, idiots that will come out from under rocks, walk into your stadium and try to fight the elderly for looking at them funny. They always start the season with a win or two and then get erect when ESPN puts them top 10 in the power rankings. Then, like clockwork, they start to unwind and end up missing the playoffs. Same old New York Jest... Beating them NEVER gets old. EVER. Jest, let's just wait and see how AWESOME your defense is Week 8, when Ronnie and Ricky come back for you and circle in for kill.

• I could write pages on how impressed I was with the Fins on MNF. Just props to beat the stinking Jets is praise enough. My three game balls go to the O-line, Ronnie Brown and of course Chad Henne. The kid played LIGHTS OUT. What was the play that made me realize this guy could be the one? How about the out pass over the shoulder to Camarillo on a 3rd down? Cool as the other side of the pillow...THAT my friends is a big time throw and something to get excited about. Great morale and confidence booster going into the bye; and we need to make it worthwhile we play the Saints Week 7.
• Trade talks are stemming all over the place? Bowe has been on the tips of everybody tongue for awhile and even word of T.O. has popped up. The one I'm most excited about, the possibility at Josh Cribbs, or as I call him, the last good player on Cleveland. I would definitely throw out an offer for an electrifying kick returner, even look to dish out Roth or Turner to save some draft picks. What do you guys think?
• Who else enjoyed Matty getting all fired up for the game thread Monday night! Dude, the guy is professional as hell but it seems whenever we play the Jets all rules are thrown out the window. I effin love it.
• Do you realize why the Jets spell out their team name during chants? It helps them remember, T before S.

Congrats to Medic for his first kid and Rizzy for celebrating in style at Landshark for his 30th. A bit under the radar was Nicky's secret wedding to longtime boyfriend Julio. They are currently honeymooning in Tahiti, so congrats to the lovebirds.
