NO ONE compare him to Marino….you pull your pants down…and take a dump right between the 1 and the 3 when you do that. He beat the Bills and Jets in back to back weeks….chillax. He looked like the real deal Holyfield Monday…but there will be bumps in the road. I think this kid might be a star in the league soon enough…but Im not ready to make him a star of the century yet.

Saga was going to unfold. Does he stay or does he go. That’s the million dollar question.

I live in Kannapolis, NC and watched both Ricky and Jimmy play and didnt realize what two great athletes I was watching at the time. Granted I was about 16. I do remember how fast Ricky was when he did get on base.

He can’t comment on his injury because its against team rules(Bill Parcells). I guess you guys aren’t noticing that Porter and JT don’t seem like they’re going to hold up the entire year, I think we really need Roth’s strength in there for the stretch run.

I saw Chad Henne’s first game as a true freshman and he had poise and presence then. That’s kind of why I wanted him to start last year. I’m just happy he’s in there now.

I’m from martinsville & since you like racing I’m sure you’ve heard of it. It also used to be home to the phillies & ricky played & I got to watch.

I try to repress the memory of that game. I was 11. My dad let me stay up late so I could watch the whole game. After that field goal, I f—-ing cried. I was so bummed, I didn’t even go to school the next day.

I lived in Greensboro, NC for 20 years (as do my kids now). It is about 20miles from Level Cross. You know, where King Richard, Lee & Kyle live. In 1971 I had a car that was worked on by Ned Jarrett! (I am a huge Formula 1 fan now though – NASCAR is NOTHING like it was in King Richards day)

On top of it all, my g/f lives in Melbourne Beach now! (Until mid-December when she moves in with me in Palm Beach!) 7 degrees and all that!

Rush Linbaugh is out as a possible owner for the Rams. Whatever you political or personal views are, I think it was the right decision for the NFL. Limbaugh has a daily radio show. Whatever he says will be a distraction for his team. Can you imagine if he comes out against the President, and then in the locker room, all of the players have to answer questions about their owners views on politics?

Even though his political stance would be a huge distraction, I think he should have been allowed to go through some vetting process instead of barring him completely.

I dont like the guy but hedoes have a right to be a apart of that ownership group.

i remember exactly where i was, and what was happening. I was on a hotel bus in south lake tahoe. I had a business meeting i was traveling to, and was missing the game, so i was on my cell phone with my daughter, and she was giving me updates. I got to the hotel and made a beeline for the bar. the score was 30-7 at that time. I was extremely UP! I proceeded to watch the entire 4th quarter melt down, much to my dismay. =(

Chad Henne really can throw a ball through the defense…and by defense, I mean defenders.

LOL! I can picture a scene like the end of “The Quick And The Dead”, where the defender is standing there looking stunned as a Dolphins WR makes a catch right behind him. He looks down and there is a big football shaped hole all the way through his chest. =)

I have never read anything else you have written, but I will be on the look out. I could not agree more with just about everything you said. That monday night in 2000, I was only in the 7th grade, watching the game all by myself, and I never thought I would see another game that good again (except the end of course). But then came this Monday night, in our orange jerseys, with this new QB, who everybody says might be our savior. Like most people I was skeptical, I couldn’t believe that if a guy was this good he would not have been put in the game already, but now I understand.

This could not have worked out any better than it did. He was thrust into his role just like he should have been. I never felt comfortable coming out the gate with him, because necessity is the mother of invention, and Henne’s invention was the arial attack that we have been waiting for, for 15-20 years. Its too early to say for sure that he is that guy, but he could be, and if you have been through the suffering that I have been through as a fan over the years (and I know you have), then you know that just that hope is more than we have really had in a long time. This kid is going to get better, he is going to learn how to make his reads even better then he is now, he is going to gain enough confidence to take off on the ground when he has to, and he is going to feed off what Chad showed him, not to make the stupid throw. The best part about him though, is he can also fire that laser beam to a streaking Teddy Ginn, or whoever else is running away from these so-called cornerbacks we have in this division. I am very excited about these Miami Dolphins. SKY IS THE LIMIT
