Trades...
Well since the trade deadline is drawing near....some are saying we need a WR. But should we trade for someone? In my opinion...I don't think so. I like our WR's and they work together very well.
What I'm thinking is.....a CB or a pass rusher. We are 2nd to last in pass defense. That is pitiful. I heard Shawn Merriman may be up for trading? Could trade for the Raiders CB. Can't spell his name but I'm sure you know who I'm talking about. But there is probably, NO WAY IN HELL we'll get him.
Just list your opinions. I really think we should get a CB. Will Allen has been killing us.

I'll compromise with you....
We go after a CB that can return kickoffs and punts. Otherwise I say we have to go get a KR/PR.

I think we're fine at cb
it’s safeties that we need. Smith and Davis are just going through their rookie learning curves.
Same with the linebackers. On the outside I think we’re fine, but on the inside we need help.

Be Patient!!!!
Well I would love to see Nnamdi Asomugha in a Dolphins uniform but it would take alot of money and also very valuable draft picks. Like I said before this is only the 2nd year with Parcells and company, this is a 3 to 4 year deal to make us a superbowl contender we need to be patient I still believe that Parcell will stay another year before leaving. I don’t see him leaving his prodecessor’s (Ireland and Sporano) high n dry, they still need time and Parcells won’t leave tham till the job is complete. I believe we need a strong young Nose Tackle a Tall reliable show stopper Wide Receiver, Younger and faster Outside Linebackers and a solid Safety and we can get all of these in this coming draft.
If it ain't Miami Dolphins it's Crap!!!

dont think we would spend a 1st and 2nd round pick on CBs if we were going to trade for another one
besides the CBs arent the problem, Gibril Wilson is

we also have a superfluous amount of OLB, no need for another

Yea we have alot of OLB’s but can we have one or two of them in the age range of 25 to grow with this team. The youngest olb we have is Charlie Anderson at 27 and he is the only Outside linebacker at that position, the other two will be out next year. Joey Porter is 32 and Jason Taylor is a wopping 35, so please don’t tell me we don’t need another OLB when we need 3 of them by next year!

we dont need 3 by next year, calm down
Joey isnt retiring after the end of the year, Jason may come back for another, and Roth’s STD may eventually clear up. Besides you only use 2 OLB most of the time, and you forget we have Quentin Moses, Erik Walden, and Cameron Wake in addition to those 3 other OLBs

as much as i want to see us get a big reciever
i dont think theres anybody out there that the trifecta would really go for. i think they are going to make us suffer until next years draft, then go after someone. remember this team has been building from the inside out. We’ve picked up lineman, cb’s etc. WR is one of the last pieces to the bill parcells draft puzzle.
2009 is a year of respect ladies and gentlemen. Lets get it.

The only trade I would like to see is for Bowe
I’d go only as high as a 2nd rd. pick
I probably know Judo! How many of you can make the same boast?

Yup, same here
Our quarterback is ready to win right now, and I like Dwayne Bowe just as much as any wideout in the 2010 draft (yes, even Dez Bryant). I think Ted Ginn will be much better with a #1 guy like Bowe on the field with him.
Besides a #1 wideout, I say our offense is pretty much set. We still need work defensively, though.

Here's a scary thought...
How about Michael Huff? He’s underachieved in Chokeland, but so did Randy Moss. I think he’d be a beast with our coaching staff constantly lighting a fire under his ass.

I like that idea. Throw a 5th round pick to the Raiders for him......
I have a feeling if we wanted him though, we would have gotten him when we traded our dear Hawaiian friend to the Raiders :}

players are all on the trading block with the exception of a few.

In fact, I can’t think of a player I want less. He’s not a 3-4 NT anyways.

I agree with waiting for the draft
But i think if we pick up a big TE, a great TE, from the draft, like Jermaine Gresham “if he heals up good”. He would fit perfectly into the wildcat as a position that’s not “needed” per-say but if we have Fasano and him on the field that would be two “recievers” that can block better for the wildcat and catch making more throwing plays from the wildcat. Meaning more surprises. Furthermore, a big TE like Gresham can catch to, just like a WR at times. The play making ability of that kid is inline with the great TE’s that are playing now. I mean imagine a bigger faster younger Dallas Clark on our team or even a Tony Gonzalez. Now that would be amazing. I’m not saying Gresham will be as good as Tony or Dallas right off the bat, but he can get there with his size and with Henne or Brown throwing the ball “Brown can throw rather well for a RB, If he can really learn to throw like a QB that would be amazing”.

the guy is 6'6 258 lbs that pretty freakin big
if you ask me what WR is that big that can catch like him and he is fairly fast too.

Ok, I know I've said it before
but along Kdog’s line of thinking, how about this?
Trade Will Allen and Gibril Wilson to Oakland for Nnamdi Asomugha. This will still give us a veteran presence at corner and a damn good one too. Now, we will have a proven amazing corner (Nnamdi) and 2 rookies who have a lot of potential and have shown some pretty good development so far (Smith and Davis). On the plus side, we will now have an extremely dangerous corner team, and one that is young as well, so we won’t have to worry about corners for years.
Now, this also frees up a spot on the roster so we won’t have to bump someone to bring a receiver in. We can try to trade for someone, Bowe and V. Jackson have been the names I’ve heard tossed around the most. Now that Marshall seems to have decided to actually play for Denver, I don’t see them wanting to trade him off, and remember, friends don’t let friends acquire TO.
But at worst case scenario, we can activate Turner and see what he can do and bring someone up from the PS to fill the roster slot. So I say we take a trip down to Crazy Al’s House of Discount Players and see what we can get.

Maybe someday the Raiders 'll bargain a healthy McFadden out and we'll have someone to replace Ronnie eventually.

Same here. In my mind, re-signing Ronnie Brown is an absolute must
He is the heart and soul of the Wildcat, and is without a doubt a true superstar at running back. I wouldn’t take any running back in the NFL over him right now. He turns 28 in December and really doesn’t have much mileage on his legs (thanks to the platooning he’s done since college, as well as the time he missed with the knee injury). Ronnie is a powerhouse back and has his best years still ahead of him, so there’s no doubt he should be re-signed.
