TRADING BLOCK
Hey guys, its been a long time since I have been on here. but you' guys can imagine how deployments go. So I was catching up and one thing hasn't changed. I ahve ead countless posts about Teddy this and Teddy that. The Tri-fecta have a bunch of good acquisitions and made some bad ones. i wonder why they have not already put this guy on the block. They had no problem cutting players before the season, no matter the cap hit we would have taken. My question to you guys is if they put Teddy on the block, what else will they throw in. I mean we all know a dynasty is built from the draft, so the Tuna and the other head honchos will not get rid of a 1st or 2nd round pick. What i think they may do is let him be on there with this coming years 4th round pick. Even though Ginn is a bit suspect, he is still experienced and would make a decent #2 or #3 option in some teams. I would love to see this happen to see what kind of offers we get. Alot talk has been about as far as Dwayne Bowe, and even though he is an upgrade from TG, he is not worth more that Ginn and a 4th rounder. What do you guys think?

what value has Ginn shown?
unless he lights it up in the next two games, we wont get more than a 6th rounder.

agreed
we won’t get much for him, if anything.

So what did Cleveland benefit from their trade. That maybe a good suiter considering the fact that he is from there.

I mean have him on the trading block with a 4th rounder, to see if we can either A. Get a better pick or B. Get a better receiver.

It certianly would not hurt to float the idea out there and see what you can get offered.

Hey I hear the Raiders are having a fire sale.
Time to trade Ginn for someone they have that we need. You know old crazy Al loves speed.

But to be honest, what has someone like Dwayne Bowe done for his team. I have looked up his stats and I have not been impressed. They are similar to Teddys. Is there a possiblity we trade Ginn and an undisclosed draft pick for more picks instead of a WR?
by esco6781 on Oct 11, 2009 10:36 AM EDT reply actions 0 recs
Well his numbers are similar to Tedds because he missed a few games but anyway look at Ginns stats the last two seasons
and look at Bowes 07-led all rookie wideouts with 70 receptions also had 995 yards and six td’s
in 08 86 receptions for 1022yrds I know who I would rather have

Is that on top of the pad of post-it-notes that someone else had proposed earlier?

Would everyone please get off ginns back
I understand ginn needs to stop running out of bounds and falling down so he doesn’t get hit but i beleive he can be a lot better than everyone is making him out to be.

Its not like we don't need a star reciever
I was looking forward to Dez Bryant this draft- but fudge that. Maybe LaFell. I don’t see many good recievers coming out this year. Marshal is a free-agent after this year. Not many other good free-agents either.

I doubt Denver lets him leave.
If he hits the market then yeah, we should definately jump on it.
PS-no tampering. Thats cheating and the Pats have already used up our quota for the division.

I was optimistic but...
After the season Denver has gotten off to, I don’t think there will be anymore flair-ups. His anger was based on what he percieved as a quarterback who wouldn’t use him effectively. I think Kyle Orton has proved him wrong though.

Belichecks still cheating...
Seriously- watch the teams that the Patriots have been playing against. Their physical presence diminishes just by playing them. I think Belicheck is spiking the Gatorade. For real.

LOL That was a joke. I am fairly sure that they are no longer cheating.
Of course given the slap on the hand that they got why stop?

Trade for Bowe, and dont sign marshall. he will cost way too much in the open market. People like the Jets will hand over their first born for him, and this FO is not about paying receivers big bucks liek that. And the draft this coming year does not have many hopefuls for the WR unit, at least not in the first round. I think we will be more focused on getting a NT in the first, and maybe a LB or WR in the second.
