The Magic Will Continue Next Season
So Chad threw 4 INT. Shit that sucked.
And many were ready to throw him under the bus?
How many bad games has he had this season. Not many. It just sucked today was the day he had one. Remember we were last year, and where Chad has brought us. Hopefully he will be able to do it again next year.
I just wanted to say since its official Bill is staying put, I am sure he will make the moves necessary for us to compete once again. Tony Sparano was robbed of coach of the year, CP MVP, but one thing you can't rob the Dolphins of is moving that hypen over one space from 1-15 to 11-5.
Everyone here has made this season very much fun and I am happy to have been welcomed here. I know my comments are off the wall sometimes, but I am who I am. I appreciate all your words who have gotten my sense of humor.
I am looking forward to what moves are made in the offseason. I am looking forward to making the playoffs again next season. And we must all remember that when you BELIEVE, anything can happen.
It was tough day today, but we had a hell of a year. And being a White Sox fan, I was thrilled that my two favorite teams in sports both won their respected divisions and did so in an exciting way.
I didn't think this game was over until Teddy dropped the ball on that handoff which was setting up the drive to come back in the 4th. But no regrets. I am so proud of this team, and I always will be. I will always root for my Dolphins no matter what. Whether they're 1-15 or 16-0, my heart will always be in South Florida when it comes to football.
Thank you all for a fun season and thank you to the Dolphins for helping everyone here including myself to bask in the glory of one of the greatest turnarounds in leauge history.

Exactly
You put it perfectly, exactly what I am thinking. I am still wearing Phins gear all week because I am just so proud to be a Phin fan. I am getting angry though because all the dumb bandwagon fans are talking shit now but I still will wear them proudly.
Keep in mind though that next year will be a brutal schedule. Our division foes twice, NFC South, AFC South, and two division winners. With the draft picks and off season acquisitions, we will def get better but I don’t see a huge year for us next year. Maybe the following one!
Let this season BE GINN!

Not sure about the magic
but I know the rebuilding will continue next year. This was a REBUILDING year people. The Pats are be way better next year and we’re gonna have atougher schedule. Everything fell in place for us to have this magical season.
Now this is gonna hurt alot of feelings, but so what. Don’t expect this next year. To be honest Pennington needs to take a step back and let Henne take over, Thats right I said it.
We are a “rebuilding” franchise and he came in a did a fantastic job. Led our team to a mythical season. Mentored our young franchise QB. Now its time he takes his place for which we brought him in. To back up Henne and let us continue rebuilding. Pennington will be 33 by the start of next season and not what a rebuilding franchise needs.
I want the Dolphins to win, and I don’t care who is playing to help them win. When a guy throws 4 ints in 2 qtrs he is hurting my team and maybe needs to sit a series. Not 1 guy is above the team. NOT ONE.

I would have to agree
for the most part. Although I don’t think CP will step back and hand the job over, but rather Henne may take it in an open competition.
Basically, it’s not gonna be a popular opinion, but Neo is right about Pennington being brought here to be Henne’s mentor for the future. And I think he did one HELL of a job this season. I seriously could not have asked for anybody else to not only lead this team this season, but to offer valuable veteran leadership in the locker room for the next couple years.

Neo, dude, I get that you don’t like Pennington and all, since you’ve been calling for his benching all year, but come on, give Henne at least two seasons to get tutored. We shouldn’t rush Henne into the driver’s seat. As for a 33-year old quarterback not being what a rebuilding franchise needs, a veteran quarterback, in this situation, is the best possible thing we could have. You’ve got a veteran in a position that is considered to be the prime position for team leadership. Not to mention, that veteran, who just exudes confidence and leadership, is priming our young quarterback, and he’s teaching him those same intangible qualities. I don’t care in Pennington had a bad game. And don’t say that it’s different because we’re in the playoffs, even Marino had bad games. I shouldn’t have to mention his last game. Are you going to call for Henne to get benched if he has a bad game?

I have not been calling for his benching all year.
I called for his benching this game (for at least a series) we he was throwing all those interceptions. When a guy throws what? As many INTs in 2 Qtrs that he has thrown all year, he needs to take a seat. Pennington doesn’t have to start to be all those things to Henne. Henne doesn’t have to ride the pine for 2-3 years. Alot (not all) of QBs are coming in right out the gate and doing well. Henne didn’t have to come in and play right off. He had a year off to learn.
Listen, its been a great year. Mythical year. Now its time to get back to basics and contiue doing what Parcells started in the preseason which is build this team for the future.
I want the Dolphins to win, and I don’t care who is playing to help them win. When a guy throws 4 ints in 2 qtrs he is hurting my team and maybe needs to sit a series. Not 1 guy is above the team. NOT ONE.
