PrintSince it's Super Bowl weekend, I figured the video this week should be related to Super Bowls.
So below is a video about the Dolphins 1972 season - including about 5 minutes on Super Bowl VII alone. Anyone remember what was so special about the '72 Dolphins? I can't seem to remember.

A couple of notes for Old Guard and those that might care. The QB that was shown wearing number 11 was Jim Del Gaizo. Another nugget, Larry Seiple…lol. That fake punt wasn’t a called play…..Seiple from what I remember, was quoted afterwards “If I didn’t get that 5 yards…..I was just going to keep running” In regards to the wrath of Shula. Another thing…had they got the fg late in the game against Washington, the final score would have been 17-0, matching the season. That would have been Ultra-Perfect. I’d love to have that whole game on DVD…anyone with a good source……hook a brother up.
